I am a former over the road trucker and I stopped because my truck broke down, in the snow and I ended up leaving the truck and had to take a taxi to a hotel. They finally got my truck 2 days later and my engine.was.shot. This was the 3rd time it had happened and I had enough. I resigned. You have great patience and I always enjoy your channel.

I'm so glad that you was in a safe place when your truck conked out. Yes, so many terrible things could've taken place. Your Guardian Angel is definitely hanging out on your shoulder and protecting you. Have you heard the saying "If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans"? What up Jazz? So is that why you be smelling good because you use your Secret Sauce! I was a OTR driver for almost 20 years and broke down twice. And had to stay in a hotel for a total 6 days. But what I’m saying is, just don’t get to excited on what the shop or your Dispatcher tells you. Not until they put those keys in your hand and you are able to drive off the yard (lot). But I’m Praying that everything works out for you and that you don’t have anymore issues. But I’m glad that your back out on the grind. Stay safe✌🏾

I have a 23 kw with a paccar. The injectors have been a big problem and have cost me upwards of 20k in lost revenue. Thank god I got a whole new set a few months ago and so far so good. This will be the last paccar I ever own.

The next time you do your pre trip be sure to check the tires on the truck because the right tire pressure will help you in the long run also the next time you have your truck washed be sure to have them wash the engine too and I have a motto since I used to wash trucks and trailers for several companies a clean truck is a happy truck especially when they wash the engine also

truck repair = warranty. Loss of revenue and hotel costs NOT warranty; as far as my experience is.

Peterbilt service is slooowwww. whenever it goes in shop expect to be down 2 weeks even for minor issues
Dear Jasmine, I wanted to SCREAM at the screen that you can not be held prisoner by a Peterbilt shop (or shipper or receiver for that matter). Very proud of you that you did the correct thing ! LEAVE because you could. Good luck and prosperous and safe hauling to you.
The fact is you are held hostage by the shop anywhere once they have your tractor until repairs are completed
Repair centers are in no hurry because you have a delivery or pick up scheduled to keep
You have a greater gamble that repairs were done correctly and you won’t breakdown on the side of the road after you leave the shop.
