Introduced by Bachar Houli, there's some classic names in this compilation but also a few grabs and goals seemingly left out.

I’m a Yankee who started watching Aussie rules football when it first aired on ESPN in the late 1980s until 2000. I remember watching Gary Ablett Sr, Tony Lockett, Jason Dunstall, Sav Rocca, Stephen Kernahan, Wayne Carey, Peter Sumich and Peter Daicos kicking huge bags of snags along Greg Williams, Paul Kelly, Craig Bradley, Jim Stynes, Chris Grant, Robert Harvey, Stephen Silvagni and countless others notching multiple possessions (Dublin Jim with his superb hit out capability and his iron man streak of 244 consecutive games from round 9, 1988 until his retirement in the penultimate round of 1998).

This was back when Victorian Football League had teams like Carlton Blues, Collingwood Magpies, Essendon Bombers, Fitzroy Lions, Footscray Bulldogs, Geelong Cats, Hawthorn Hawks, Melbourne Demons, North Melbourne Kangaroos, Richmond Tigers, South Melbourne Swans and St Kilda Saints.
Today out of those 12 teams from the 1970s, South Melbourne relocated to Sydney in 1982, Fitzroy merged with Brisbane Bears to become the Brisbane Lions in 1996 and the Footscray Bulldogs renamed themselves as the Western Bulldogs before the 1997 season started so they could attract sponsors and avoid the same fate that Fitzroy suffered.
The 1970s was the last decade that the 12 teams in the VFL were the way they were that lasted from 1925 to 1981.

@@mufc3316 It would be a much better game if players were yellow carded for kicking the ball into touch, that's deliberately wasting time. Get rid of 2 players, number down to 9. Get rid of off side. Penalise players for kicking the ball from forward half back into defence, eg basketball cross court violation (but I assume since you are so bias in your opinion that you wouldn't even know anything about basketball). Your game is boring, too low scoring and full of actors and divers! The difference between Union and soccer, is soccer players spend 80 minutes running around trying to look hurt, whilst Union players spend 80 minutes running around trying NOT to look hurt! 😂
