Gary Chaffee | Rhythm and Meter Patterns| Study #3

Following my previous video of Rhythm and Meter Patterns Study #1, here's my attempt at study #3. The dynamic changes in this piece were particularly challenging, trying to use the appropriate stick heights throughout; and the changes in time signature are also cool to get the hang of.
I think I'll continue recording a video for every new piece I work on, serves as a video diary of my studies in a way, while allowing me to practice mixing and editing. This time I used a mono overhead as well as top and bottom snare mics, and went for a different type of reverb. Hope you enjoy!
