Beast is a solid B. Y'all doing him dirty. The bigger transgression is Ant-Man. Definitely an A if not S. Everything you love about Ghost Spider applies to Ant-man except lifesaver. Sure he gets nothing from Steve in Avengers but my guy is solid in a lot of lists.
Beast is a rock star in affiliation, even in Avengers where Steve gives him a 1 power throw. Fast, durable with the re-rolls, possibly the best pound-for-pound model in the game on his affiliation's favourite crisis Mutant Madman.
I've shown reasons for others, but Beast makes around 66% of xmen rosters, rarely played outside it

This is going to be the most interesting tier list for me, there's just something about 3 threats that demands thought. Brainstorming and comparisons and what-not.
One criticism guys. Our knowledge of comic lore varies, and you call all the characters by their real names instead of character names. And the avatars aren't big enough to always tell who they are. Please use their superhero names for clarity.

I think Beast should be in the "B" tier. Whenever he makes a squad he always outperforms my expectations.
I agree. Beast is a B. M base, power accumulation, nippy;
Excellent way of dishing out Patch Up too as he can cover distances.
Look back at Roster stats from the past year, Beast only makes around 66% of all Xmen rosters and rarely makes it outside of affiliation
@@RichMidGaming there's 5 tiers so in theory each band covers 20%. 66% puts Beast in B.
@@deantimson5643 that’s not how it works. We explain that to be S tier you need to be not only an absolute take in your given affiliation, but also splashed in others.
A tier is a mixture of taken in own affiliation and splashed.
B tier is you make it into your roster, but not always in a squad.
C tier is you are an option for your affiliated roster but there may be better choices.
D tier is rarely taken and not really needed.
Hence why he is in C tier.

Nick Fury Sr is insane. They have royal decree at 3 points. Attacks at range 4 with stealth and a guaranteed incinerate.
Thank you for all these tier lists! As essentially a brand new player with only two games of separation anxiety ffa under my belt, these really help me understand who I need to be on the lookout for. I too am hoping a thunderbolts Zemo leader comes out, and have been building a themed cabal/syndicate/foes list around it. Would taking sin and crossbones together warrant either or both moving up in tier level?
Love the tier list videos, it's interesting to see opinions on characters based off the TTS play because I don't get to participate as much as I'd like to.
My only suggestion would be to add + and - to at least the A and B tiers.
A lot of the time you both will say a character is A- or B+ anyway, so would just be cool to see the visual representation over them all just being lumped together.

I love the content you guys put out. If I may offer a small critique, I personally would appreciate it if you always used the super hero name when referring to characters. For example, new people like me don't know who Mr. Masters is. I'm sure most people do but sometimes I never figure out who you're even talking about.
While o generally agreed with your list I do feel sone of your D picks were not on. Cora is a budget Red Skull. She had a teleport, and can throw both size 2 terrain and models. Yes, she can hurt herself, but that doesn’t keep her out of C, and really she’s possibly a B. Likewise the Punisher is a solid character. He has a guaranteed rapid fire and is solid in wide lists. Shadowlands Daredevil with both the re-roll and the grunts to fuel him can really turn him on. I’d put him at a low B.
I feel like when Punisher is paired with a place effect(i.e. lockjaw, who can also maximize his rapid fire with the extra dice from interdimensional bloodhound) he can get easy 1 turn/turn 1 KOs/Dazes on other 3 threats when he can get his hip-fire/aimed-shot combo off, especially with Shadowlands rerolls. Also power generation; Red Skull is an option that gives him the power he needs to make him shine by opening up his kit to use his own place effect to line up combos,
and he can generate a possible 4 power from a hip-fire in one action or 8 in an activation!
Y'all sleeping on Wasp too. She's amazing. Not Ant-Man level but really fun. C tier is no justice for her.

Interesting how the only reason they gave for Lockjaw to be top tier is his teleport superpower, yet Darkstar has an actionless version of that same teleport superpower and she ends up at the bottom with no mention of that ability. Don't give up on her just yet, she might surprise you.
So couple of things that are the difference. Positioned correctly, Lockjaw is guaranteed to have enough power to do this turn one, and every other turn from there on in.
Dark stars power generation is horrific, and the teleport costs one more - yes she may have access to the same thing, but she can’t use it turn one (when it is most impactful) and she is unlikely to have enough power on her to be able to do it more than a couple of times per game.
Have you done a "duos" tier list? Not just groot/rocket, but those that use tactics to partner up like ricochet blast too?

Honestly this tier list made me look back at Inhumans and just how a bad leader can sink an affiliation. Outside of Beast, every Inhumans character is good enough except Blackagar Boltagon.
Don't get me wrong I'd love getting the rest of the Royal Family, Gorgon, Karnak, Triton and Maximus will give so much better variety (And Luna as a 2 threat would be a funny thought exercise); but the issue is always gonna be the leader is so bad a character. He's just so Fragile.
Lockjaw has everything Kraven has except minus a bit of damage (and gains a teleport, a power gainer, a throw, etc) I dont see how they are the same tier (maybe A- vs A+?)

Thor and Heimdall are great together... in Avengers 🤣 poor Asgard, get great characters but loose them to better affiliations.

I feel like you guys are really sleeping on proxima, she moves long has -1 damage and she has extra mobility on her attacks to make her even more action efficient.
She's at least A tier and she might be S, she's also always taken in black order
She will go up in value when we partner her with Corvus, but (at least in my opinion) she is nowhere near A tier, let alone S.
Last TTS league, she wasn’t splashed into a single affiliation outside of Black Order, one of our pre-requisites for S tier.
Always enjoy the tier lists, even though there is always something people disagree with, simply because it's so thought provoking - get wasp up one and sin down one!
Sad you don’t like like Frank Castle. I love him in my mystique lists and he has been a large part of my gameplans.
"Sam got worse" - TTS league had Sam Wilson at 1 and 2 for Season 8. I don't think he's worse. I think Malekith is suppressing everything that Sam Wilson didn't deal with well, and he's good against Malekith.
I think Heimdell is Darkstar with a whole 1 more power, but a much worse builder, so basically he's just Darkstar. I think he's a lot cooler-seeming than he actually is.
Mysterio... he moves S. I think that about summarizes most of why he's a C at best. Everything on his card says "hah! You paid attention to me and now you suffer!" Literally three defensive superpowers and a defensive card. But he has a R3 4 dice mystic, and he's really slow. What if you... just ignore him? Then is he Colossus with no bodyguard? Also he's size 2. You can just throw him. How much better is he than Supergiant?
I just want to throw it out there that my friend did 17 damage to my Hulk in a single activation with Viper. Might be the saltiest I have ever gotten playing the game.

@@nklinef absolutely cracked rolls plus rerolls from Zola. Hulk has kinda terrible defenses for a 6 threat that is supposed to be made up for with his massive health pool but obviously sometimes the dice just say naw.
So while overall i like your rankings, one of the things I have noticed is you always throw whatever unit your ranking at the very end of the list, however you talk about things like B+/A- characters. that difference get's lost though when you do that. If you would put those borderline characters at the top or bottom of the rank and keep the sold middle characters in the middle the list would have more impact. Further I occasionally her you ask if say X should be in S tier, and the ? is would you take that character over the other S tier characters, this is really the wrong ? though. If often i see this question on a character that would always be taken over any say A tier character, just the other S Tier's are better. This still sounds like a S tier character in that set.
Oh.....and Thor is still a turd and should have been a T6 all along ;)

What does splashed mean
Thrown into a different affiliation they're not part of.
As Joshua said below, its taking a character in a roster and playing them in a squad that they are not affiliated with.

I honestly don’t agree with the Beast statement, he isn’t an auto include in every Roster. Looks at the stats of the last years worth of big events, he only makes around 66% of rosters…

He gives so much leverage to storms hop. His movement and abilty to throw and push can secure a flank 1v1 vrs most people in his threat range.
He can easily have the power to flip a B point. Move to opponents B point, flip that, then pick up their extract. If a gold hop is involved, me can usually move back as well
