Knowing marvel, it's probably trans-dimensional storage flowerbed the skrulls were using for their invasion or some shit.
Those two civilians were clearly getting down in that flowerbed and had no idea Ultron was attacking

He prevented the two civilian casualties that Ultron needed for victory.

That’s the benefit of only producing 12 videos a year I suppose. Which is an insanely low amount when you think about just how much focus there is on frequency + speed these days.

In the members versions of the video Ben mentions he playtested the scenario twice behind the scenes to balance it (and fix infinite loops in the flowchart)
@@moocha3689 Fixing infinite loops in an AI flowchart meant to control Ultron, of all characters, is ironic. Who knows what kind of super villain combination of Ben, Ultron, and a flowchart would have been unleashed upon the world if he hadn't done that??

Amazing game! So much fun! At the end when Ben said "We'll ignore the handful of civilians that didn't make it" it made me think of XCOM when you do the civilian rescues and just have to get a few to complete it. Yeah some people died but we did it right?!

I was gripped for this entire episode holy smokes.
It really does seem like they put a lot of effort into making each hero feel how they should.
The way I kept cracking up every time the Avengers theme got sung, the sheer peril at the end with all those blanks, the Evil Flow Chart! This was such a fantastic report, thank you all so much for making a grey morning brighter!!

Remember when Hank Pym taped a flowchart to Ben and turned him into Ultron? In the movies it was Iron Man and some sort of digital flowchart and a robo-Ben, if I remember correctly.
I love how cinematic that final attack was. Felt exactly like the kind of last-ditch effort at the climax of a Marvel movie.
Somehow they managed to make a video that was as cinematic as the movies!
The production value of the Games Night videos is always stellar - or should I say "Through the roof" like all of Ultron's blasts decimating the homes and businesses of those poor, poor New Yorkers.

Apparently Ben did a couple of playtests before they filmed the game in order to fine tune the scenario. He absolutely puts the work in to give the viewers and the players the best experience possible - one of the many reasons I love him being the main driving force behind this channel.

I could just picture the ending.
Everyone starting to think the battle is over, then ONE ultron bot stands up, revealing itself to be the Last Ultron, Mad as Hell.
Ultron is rearing back, roaring with rage, probably at Captain America specifically but 100% going to kill everyone nearby probably saying something like
"I will *END-*"
And then the kill satelite fires, and anime wipes Ultron from existence as an orbital Kill satellite Isekai's him into the afterlife.
6 years ago Ben and Mark demoed Star Wars Armada. Because of that video, I bought it as my FIRST tabletop game. Then I got SW Legion. Searching for Legion, I found GW LOTR, then Age of Sigmar. And on and on. That ONE video cost me thousands and thousands of dollars.

Having Mark on the channel really feels right! A game I’d love to see is Flames of War. It might be a bit harder to get as investing a story as some of the smaller scale games but there are some neat scenarios for it like Wittman’s Wild Ride
