My mafia uncle had one like this in triple navy blue. Navy, with a navy top, and a plush navy interior. And let me tell you, it was SPECTACULAR!
My mom’s sister had a 1972, metallic red, white top, and red leather interior. It was equally spectacular!
Meanwhile, our car at the time was a 1967 VW bug with no heat in the winter and heat on full blast in the summer. But what I’d give to have another bug today. They were fun cars!
My Popz had Six(6) Cadillacs and this year was one of them. Nice Bag job. LOve the 76' nose.

1:30..."Ship" might be more appropriate than "boat." Either way, you have to moor it when you park it. Your '76 Fleetwood is a nice specimen! I had a '69 Fleetwood in 1985. BTW, I have not experienced long gas lines in 1976. The long lines at the pump were in 1973-4 due to the OPEC oil embargo against the US for supporting Israel during the Yom Kippur War, and in 1979, due to the Iranian hostage crisis. I always thought the first shortage was real, but that the second one was contrived since I heard that Iran only supplied 2% of our oil at the time. Also, earlier in the video, you said it's 19 feet long. Then near the end you said it's 22 feet long. But who cares? (so long as one doesn't have to parallel moor it)
You are correct the initial oil embargo was in 1973. It was all over by ‘76 and in fact big cars were in high demand once again. A second fuel crisis in 1979 would ensure that we would never see cars like this again although the ‘93-‘96 Fleetwood was a pretty big car but those days are sadly long gone.

I am very knowledgeable of the Cadillacs of this period and I would have to say that is an original 16k car. There are a few little things that I paused on the video and I am very convinced the miles are true.

Among other things with it, the interior trim did NOT do well with time. All that stuff is supposed to be one color. It's like the white that becomes off-white on so.e of the panels. It's not bad but the whole thing needs to be redone. And the roof needs new vinyl.
The car does NOT have the original horn. The correct horn sounds like a train horn. Great car outside of the horn. LOL!

All I'm going to say is this Anthony do us a favor save some of these cards for us I know you like cars it's your hobby I like cars too I'm a Cadillac Lincoln man and Chrysler even if it's something old yeah but when I go and look for something that you already been there they said and I'm like when would this guy let up I know it's America we can do what we want we can go as we please and buy what we want but it's a thing of respect and respect your fellow man have you heard of that that's all I'm going to say

Fix the suspension . . . This car looks stupid sitting on the ground . . . These cars look excellent sitting high up as possible with a good high stance . . . It is what it is.
