From Screen Time to Play Time

This is how I've been able to cut back on my child's screen time and engage her in more physical playtime instead. It's been effective for years now, so long as I stay tuned in to her evolving interests... Right now she loves Among Us...but even that can transition from screentime to "real time".

@@DaddyDaughterMovieNight Congratulations on being dad of 9 year old Abby! I love your wise advice on staying balanced with screens & tablets. Abby's screaming is delightful. My 54 year old son Joshua fell in love with his beautiful Nicaraguan caregiver. They married in July 2020 and succeeded in bringing her son Nathan here from Nicaragua on May 7 2022. So that's how I have an 8 year old grandson.
