    This is the best video that I have seen for a plumbing setup!

  • @BEAdventurePartners
    @BEAdventurePartners Před 4 lety +4

    Hey @MEREDITH and PACO! We absolutely LOVE how simple you two are making your plumbing setup! We've seen some crazy setups and know that the simpler it's constructed, the easier it is to maintain and the less probability of problems down the road. One thing that would be worth adding to the setup as seen in this video is adding a quarter turn shut off valve BEFORE the pump and another one AFTER the accumulator. The reason being is that if you need to perform maintenance or switch out a pump or accumulator, you don't have to empty your entire load of water (you'd only be losing the little bit that resides in the pump and accumulator).
    Other than that, we LOVE LOVE LOVE how you set this up! We're planning on using Pex and Shark Bites too (so friggin simple!)
    Keep rocking it, y'all!!!

    I had that pressure value, figuring it was the better option being more expensive and all. That turned out to be a total bust. It stopped working not that long after I got it. I've gone back to the basis one that keeps the pressure at 55 lbs. with no gauge. It seems to work way better and I've had no issues with it. Not saying you'll have issues with yours, but pay attention to that one. It might not be working when or the way you think it is. You won't have problems with the PEX and high pressure, but you will blow out the diaphragm in your pump with it. Keep up the good work guys!!
