- Hello Everyone! In this Slow and Gentle ASMR Ramble video I will tell you all about my top 3 favorites! There are plenty of fabric sounds, some unintentional real thunder, brief up close camera hand movements, and a more conversational soft spoken (a little more than I usually do).

You really have a gift for this. For me, it is your cadence and especially the tone and timber of your unique voice. Very unusual and very appreciated considering how weirdly sexual the ASMR world is becoming. I use your videos like a relaxation tool whenever I want to take time to slow down during the day. My favorite use for your videos is listening with headphones while I eat and read then zone out on my lunch break. It is like a 30 minute brain massage. When I come back to work I feel fresh as the proverbial daisy. You are gooood my friend. Verrrrry goood at this. Keep up the awesome work.

Another great video, I am the same with some of those triggers, I love the slow deliberate tones, pronunciation and enunciation. Also the very slow deliberate movements. Which is why I watch your videos. They really relax me and get me into an almost zen state of calm 😌

I'm not sure that I really have any triggers in the sense that you mention but I really find your voice so soothing and relaxing. It's just so absolutely perfect for me, distracting my thoughts away the right amount, engaging just enough, but not too much, to fall asleep too. I wouldn't exaggerating if I said you've spoilt other ASMR artists for me with just how great you are, and how much of a fit your style is.

Thanks for sharing all this! I'd commented on one of your earlier videos that it would be cool to see you in black and white, but with coloured nails. A few days ago, I stumbled on an ASMR video from "Maple Whispers" where she had "green screened" her nails. But she used this to introduce a moving pattern to her nails, rather than a solid colour. I immediately thought of you - and when I commented on her video, it turns out she's a fan of your hand work as well!
Yes! I love Maple! I actually have a Collab on this channel that I did with her and a few others a while back. I had forgotten about the nail suggestion and to green screen them would be a super fun idea!

Yep, sloooooow is good. Voice is a little different per your intent, but still ASMR-y. The fabric sound is pretty effective. I had to watch again outside of a "wanting sleep" setting (kept falling asleep otherwise) so I could hear you talk about hobbies like art and video games. Thanks for sharing!

Fabric sounds are also probably my favorite if I had to choose. Although one ASMRtist I follow uses a jade comb combined with fabric and the combination is fantastic.
The slow, smooth movements are part of what made me follow you. I know some people like fast ASMR with lots of tapping and energetic noises, but I use it to wind down for sleep so the low, slow, almost hypnotic style tends to be my favorite.
I can agree about the voice too. I used to think I just didn't like ASMR because the friend who introduced me to it preferred basically the opposite kind of voice to what I gravitate toward. The voice can absolutely make or break it for me, and I do think it's very individual, so I love that ASMR is popular enough I can hunt for variety.
Slow hair brushing I think would be my third. I don't always tend to pay attention to visuals, I often put on ASMR while winding down with something to read, or just closing my eyes and drifting a bit, so while good visuals are sometimes nice, they aren't critical for me I think. (Though I do watch a few channels that do ASMR vlog type things with bright visuals, which I am more apt to watch when trying to energize or soothe anxiety during the day.)
I love how the thunder just sort of added to the vibes here.

I haven't seen "Stardust" in movie form, but I have read the Neil Gaiman/Charles Vess illustrated story. I also have a folio called, IIRC, "Fall of Stardust", which has illustrations by several other artists and some additional stories. Beautiful stuff!

It was nice to get to know you better and have a sort of one-sided conversation with you (I'm good at those lol). Your Magic videos pulled me in because of my nostalgia for it. I played back in middle school, and wouldn't mind a game again if I had someone to play with. Your fabric sound videos are some of my favorites that I go back to because, like you, those are my favorite sounds. Paired with a good voice like yours, and I'm set! :)

I don't get classic tingles. When I came to ASMR I thought I might based on some childhood experiences, but no. However, I did find some to be very relaxing. So voice and situation are key for me. I like task-oriented videos, to give an "unintentional" feel. You mentioned art, some drawing and painting videos, even some that aren't explicitly ASMR, can be nice. I wouldn't mind if you did a sketch and/or watercolor video, talking about the task. I also like personal attention, like hanging out at a party, or friend takes care of you that sort of thing.
I really love the task ones as well. I did a couple folding and ironing ones a while back and I have a watercolor and a couple drawing ones as well in the library. I'll definitely get some more of those kinds at some point 😁🧡
From the thumbnail alone, did not expect you to sound like Cate Blanchett especially when you look so much like Amy Lee from Evanescence. Still quite an effective video because I can't recall anything in the second half of the video because I dozed off
