Her mind was so sharp at 85 years old. I do believe that had she lived until 100, she would find some way to participate in a wrestling match. She is still officially the only person who wrestled and won an official wrestling match beyond the age of 80 when she won Falls Count Anywhere match against LayCool on November 15, 2010.

Mae Young is the epitome of an OG of wrestling. I don’t know anyone that could take the bumps she did at her age. Truly a badass before everyone started calling themselves badasses. RIP Johnnie Mae Young!

I shouldn’t kiss and tell. But I dated Lillian, for seven years, and I know more about Mae Young than just about anybody, since she lived with Lillian, starting in 1991. She moved from Fremont, California to Columbia, on Lillian’s request. Trust me, I know plenty.

There are wrestling people today who do pod casts, today, who do some “telling”-but the true “underbelly” will never be revealed. Thanks for responding.
