you can cut another pass 90 degrees from the main slot and it allows the epoxy to spread inside the hole for better bonding
I saw that in a video when i was researching and i didnt know why he did it. Makes sense. Thank you.
That's a nice piece
Thank you
Wicked cool! And love the handle too!!
Thanks. I like to experiment as much as possible.
Hi. I think the second part of wood is cocobolo 😻
Nicely done
Thank you
Very well done…. Are you going to the knife show in Lakeland? I believe it’s in January
I dont look into knife shows so i didnt even know there was one in lakeland. Whats the name of it so i can look it up?
Excelente
Very nice
Thank you
I believe the wood in question looks like Purpleheart to me
Its definetly not purple heart. It has more of a brown color to it than purple heart.
@@JPsBladeworks I thought it looked more brownish as well I use Purple Heart quite a bit and that grain structure looks identical. It’s interesting tho. I’ve seen Purple Heart over exposed to sunlight turn brown. Maybe it’s Chechen?
Regardless, nice job on the blade.
@@outlawbladesandleather yes i made a knife for my mom from purple heart and i notices it browns over time.
It’s 💯 % cocobolo. It’s my favourite wood, I have the same 🥹
That definetly sounds familar. Ill make a note on the wood. Thanks
