Out of curiosity - did your friend mention whether there was a lot of noise from above? I've looked at these cabins, but the galley is right above, so I worry that there would be noise early in the morning as the crew prepares for breakfast.
If my memory serves me well...I do believe she could hear some noise coming from above her from the galley at certain times during the day/night. I do believe though that she loved the room otherwise and because of the size, she would probably rebook that room again if she sailed on the Panorama again...
Yes, there is a lot of noise from above. We just got off today and the noise was really really bad. I don’t understand how they place a suite in that area. We pay a lot of money to upgrade and then weren’t able to sleep. The banging was ridiculous at night. It was tolerable during the day but still heard it.
