  • Learn how to swing two clubs perfectly: dutchflowacademy.com/course/h...
This is the entire conversation and discussion on Persian Meels that Paul and me had when I visited Perth, Australia back in May. What a true treasure he is for the club swinging community with his knowledge and skills which he shares so freely everywhere. Truly an inspiration and a legend. Enjoy the video, Harbert

Paul my lad, you are still the master of both clubs and meels. And the Flowing Dutchman is close to the mark. You two are the dynamic duo. Kudos!

Those Victorian Gymnasiums which utilised callisthenics from ancient India,Persia and Greece and athletics were very effective indeed.

I have seen videos of a Silat teacher (Maul Mornie) teaching machete strikes and the Meel shoulder movements look very similar.

I would imagine that someone who trains meels and Silat would be able to clear an acre of brush with a machete faster than a tractor could! 😆

It's also strange that persians and indians met in clandestine 'clubs' where they would swing clubs.

Northern India was invaded & occupied by the Persian empires many times(before Islam & after Islam). As the result many of the Iranian traditions were exported to Northern India (Hindustan).
