I'm not a Jordan fan, I rooted for the NY Knicks in the 90s. But I strongly disagree with your assessment that Jordan faced inferior competition in the 90s. That's just flat out wrong. The Eastern conference had the Celtics, the Pistons, the Hawks, the Knicks. Jordan's earlier losses only PROVE he's the goat, because you can follow the progression he made and Pippen really being a game changer for him. Look at the losses in those series. Can you name a single series where Jordan was NOT the most dominant player on his team, and arguably on the floor in ANY of those series losses? Ok, so look at Bron's losses. Look at all his 4th quarter collapses, there are MULTIPLE series where he is eliminated, multiple FINAL series, where he is NOT the best player on the floor. That simply never happened to Jordan, win or lose. That's called being the greatest of all time. And of course, just like any good Shonen anime, the greatest is the one who STEPS UP in the biggest moment, not the one who self-aggrandizes and shrinks when it matters most. You should know this.
