I’ve never been more disappointed than this performance. I usually let it pass, especially the mistreatment with the album line distribution, but this performance proved that they really neglect Gehlee and Elisia. They can’t say these girls aren’t fluent in Korean, Nana and Kotoko aren’t fluent too. Let’s be honest, without Eli and Gehlee, this group won’t go viral and popular. These two literally carrying this group when it comes to popularity. I don’t usually comment or give sentiment. I’ve been a K-pop fan since 2nd gen, so I know when a member is treated poorly.
Thank you! People need to stop making excuses saying this is a marketing strategy. they also need to stop saying we should be grateful they are even getting to be on stage. Gehlee and Elisia worked just as hard as the K and J-lines. Gehlee might even be working harder since it's all new to her and she still somehow keeps up. If we don't raise these concerns vocally then it will keep happening!!
They can't say that Elisia can't speak korean. Remember during the program, she was excelling despite being a foreigner. Even chosen by the producers to be their main vocal. F&F just sucks
What's the point of Elisia winning No. 1 in the Universe Ticket if they wouldn't use her as the Center & Main Vocal? Like it's the first time that the No. 1 winner of a survival talent show was given less line and part. Like Somi, Daniel, Wonyoung and even Yohan all got the Center part in their debut group. But Elisia didn't get the same treatment. Same with Gehlee. I was really looking forward for the both of them to finally debut with Unis and then this is the treatment that they got? No wonder fans are mad.
I agree. People who don’t watch the show might think that Elisia was not the winner if they keep on depriving her of her deserving title as the Number 1 and the supposedly Center of the group. She was even given the title of Main Vocalist but they are not giving her lines to sing. Eversince their debut, they are trying to conceal her talent of hoping to uplift the others. Can’t they do that without holding her back?
Even chaehyun got a lot of center time during their debut even though she's not really the center. This is just peak racism. Gehlee and Elisia should just leave that flop group and start a girl group here in the philippines.
Asking for fair line distribution, doesn't mean the fans wants their fave to shine the most and hating on the other girls. They just want the lines to be distributed fairly. That's it. It's really not hard to understand. How could you be a fan of a group and be okay with the treatment that they receive. There's a difference with wanting fair and being a solo stan. And if you think demanding fairness is solo stanning, then it says more about you not caring for all the members than those who just wants fairness.
I really like these comment. There are U&IS fans claiming they're OT8 but are screaming at Eli and Gehlee fans branding them as "solo stans" when they're really just concerned. If they really are OT8 why are they ok with this unfairness? Gehlee was understandable since she's improving her dance (AND HAS🔥) but Elisia's "LINE" was just wrong. Mind you these girls competed...COMPETED, and won 1st and 2nd if you don't count the 2 judge votes before Gehlee, that's proof enough of their skills. Fine! let's say they are the 2 most famous and they want other members to shine too, if they really want to promote the other girls so much, doesn't that come naturally? Why can't they just leave the girls alone to show us their charms on their own (which is undoubtably way more effective) instead of forcing them on people, whilst neglecting the already famous (Which I don't think so, I'm not sure) members, which is like feeding them to the wolves, it just doesn't work. I've never had a group in which I stanned them due to one member and one member alone, NO I always end up with all of them. F&F just needs to be patient, they can't keep doing this to the girls. Also justice for my queen YOONA too she always has the least lines alongside Gehlee and sometimes Eli, and their voices are really good and easy on the ears. (These so called "OT8" stans need to see that nobodies targeting anybody, people are just concered and seek fairness.)
This is not even about a Filipino pride anymore, but it's all about a girl group that is not girl grouping. The song is sang originally by 9 members yet parang 6 lang kumakanta sa cover? We don't wish them to literally "shine" among all the members. All we want is just a FAIR distribution that's it. Not because them about being a Filo but because they are an 8 member girl group! don't you forget that the Philippines is a "keyboard warrior country" if we feel the mistreatment we will literaly voice it out. When Unis is in PH for the fansign event, we haven't left out any members thus we cheer on them fairly.we want them to feel that they are equally loved by the filipinos. We are not rallying because we want them to be the center or got the most lines, we are just asking for fairness. I hope F&F realized their mistake. Since their debut, I've tried to be more understanding when Elisia and Gehlee get fewer and unfair lines. I also defended them by saying that probably this is just their marketing strategy, but this is what we get? This is just a cover of "What is Love?" by Twice, which has nine members in their group, yet Unis, as an eight-member group, only gives two repetitive words to Gehlee. I won't even notice that she's singing because it's barely noticeable. They also only give one line to Elisia, who is one of their main vocalists. Please, FnF Entertainment, what are you doing? What are the producers thinking? Give fair and sufficient lines to each of the members and give them the chance to shine equally. They are not backup dancers and singers, they are members of the group. Please be fair.

The fact that twice's bridge is sung by BOTH main vocalists in the group but in UNIS they make seowon sing it alone. & the lines gehlee and elisia did have they weren't even center when they sang it. I've been a silent watcher of UNIS since universe ticket but some fans like to deny the blatant mistreatment the two members face.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt during debut about how they’re prioritizing giving lines to Seowon and Nana as a means of garnering more local and Japanese fans but debut era is over. Gehlee having 0 lines while always being at the back is just mind boggling to see and Elisia having a single line is just as confusing. They better step up with their line distributions.

Everything in this cover has a lot of negative feedback, to be honest. They say that Gehlee and Elisia doesn't have any lines and solo stans are fighting for it BUT NO. This isn't only concentrated among them, like look at the line distribution. Jin Hyeonju, Bang Yunha, Im Seowon and Nana had the majority of lines. Oh Yoona and Kotoko are rank lower which's surprising since Oh Yoona's Korean and has great vocals. Meanwhile, Kotoko continues of improve so kudos to that. The worst among the members are Elisia and Gehlee which angers the international fans right now (I'm not sure if Pilipinas, Nippon and Hanguk are included). They onlt got 3~5 seconds like, is that reasonable? They shadowed two of their members, of course fans would be furious. Even if Gehlee has a low tone voice, why couldn't Elisia sang some parts of the song? Why didn't Kotoko sang the other rap parts? Why isn't Oh Yoona qualified in doing vocals for the cover? This is so messed up. Whoever made the line distribution deserves a giant needle bang in their heads. Also, kudos to the uploader hehe, I want to support your uploads!! not just UNIS ❤❤❤
Yoona being the Main Rapper despite having one of the nicest vocals was already messed up to begin with. Also I don't get why Elisia and Gehlee only has a line. Considering again they rank high in the group in terms of quality vocals. Seowon is the only one I'm leaning on right now to be able to get through this vid.

Everyone gets a different distribution depending on the tupe of song although I really disagree with how fnf handled this situation with eli and gehlee since they're both good in rap and vocals
I even understood Gehlee barely having lines, she is more focused on improving her dancing and she had a little difficulty speaking Korean, but Elise didn't! She was the main vocal throughout the entire reality show and went head to head with Seo Won, seriously, she was the first to qualify

Maybe some people misunderstood us about having unfair distribution, it’s not because we wanted elisia and gehlee to have more exposure than others. It’s about having a really fair distribution about EACH members.

i think they just give chances for the weakest members in terms of popularity. all of the members can sing well actually, they also have the looks. but in popularity, ghelee and elisia got the top 2 places, no doubt filipino fans supported them that much. if you checked the popularity when they were at the universe ticket , the gap from the 2nd to 3rd place was notable. other members need to be popular too.

I don't know if you read a article that if Unis wins a "rookie of the year" award their contract will extend to 4 years, but seeing this very obvious unfair treatment specially to Elisia WHO is one of the popular contestant, MAIN VOCALIST and WON the 1ST PLACE which must give her the CENTER position is being mistreated and Gehlee who's in 4th place and have a very good stage presence and also being mistreated. Ive been watching unis since the universe ticket began and i thought this entertainment is perfect for gehlee and elisia but it is so disappointing that they arent even trying to hide it anymore, the against is literally so obvious. I hope they’ll listen to EverAfter’s, its my first time stanning a group and i don’t wanna regret it.
I'm 100% sure that papermakers produced this cover. Just from the line distribution, we all know that during the UT days they already showed a lot of favoritism towards a certain individual. I mean like they produce the song camera and choose elisia as their main vocal yet had given yunha most of the songs lines so yeah that just speaks volumes.
Well Yunha came from F&F company.. so you can clearly see the favoritism,.. Even in the dopamine, Elisia and Gehleee have to share Narumis line while Yunha gets sieun, and even stole seowons staring line, and she gets the second part just before the chorus.. "the spitting fire on the dopamine" line when Elisia is available they clearly give all the lines that is not used to Yunha when she's only Lead Vocal... While Elisia on the other hand is the Main Vocal..😤😤 Tsk... Just because she came from F&F...
all members should stand out in a performance, Elisia has the best vocal in the group and unfortunately she doesn't have lines worthy of a main vocal and gehlee deserves equal lines like the rest of the girls! Don't give lines to some and forget the others, they all deserve to shine ❤

I m so mad that elisia didn't get lines 🫠. They should at least let her sing the bridge. Not blaming seowon for singing both parts but they could do a lot better with line distribution there. And they made gehlee dirty. Even though I m a yunha and nana biased I don't think this is right

Eli and Gehlee should have just sit this one out. They have officially become back up dancers coming from minimal lines. The most voted members don't deserve this. I would be happy if they find other agency as early as now. I would be very tired of supporting UNIS if this persists.
I am very happy to know that the F&F Entertainment really endorses UNIS in any events and social media contents. It really helps them in gaining fans and popularity. But I do really hope and wish that in their future activities, performance and songs, our Filo idols (Elisia and Gehlee) will have more lines and more exposure. They deserved it naman. Just like what they are doing on our J-Lines (well maybe fluent talaga sila mag korean, I'm not really sure) Eli/Gehlee can carry UNIS internationally narin especially English countries. We cannot blame our fellow Filos for being a little bit disappointed. I somehow feel the same but nevertheless, I still have high hopes. And I think mas gaganahan yung filo fans natin na mag support pa lalo (especially votings and to win ROTY award to extend their group) if we see that Eli/Gehlee are never left out. That's it. This is the deciding performance. I'm not spending any jelly for the rookie of the year awards anymore. Management said that UNIS will get a 4-year contract extension if they'd win the said award. But what's so good of having another 4 years of Eli and Gehlee being neglected? I don't wanna be mean to the other girls, like, Nana is my bias, but I just couldn't stand how they treat Eli and Gehlee. The two girls don't only have the biggest fanbase among the girls, but they also have stable vocals; Eli's is even comparable to veteran idols. She's also a skilled dancer. -definitely the best all-rounder in the group by far. I'm aware that this isn't new to kpop, but i honestly kind of thought F&F would make a difference, but nah. But then again, to each their own, and this is just me.

They did those two girls dirty on this one. They totally got side-lined and were just given bread crumbs of an adlib at the end that wasn't even considered a solo line. While the other six members got their solo while placed at the center with close-up solo camera shots. I can't think of a possible excuse, as much as I want to understand the logic on this decision.

Not speaking up is the same as being a doormat. “ What is love” is an insult. Not giving a fair line distribution and dance spotlight to the 2 Filipinos members speaks volume. Not including the 2 Filipinos in SBS thumbnail is like adding insult to injury. Letting the girls stand in the back or outermost end in photo shoots is a glaring and subtle sign of racism and disrespect. They are being put in the sidelines like backup dancers and singers. Not supporting anymore this kind of treatment. Not worth it since you get shortchange by seeing only 6 members constantly highlighted. The screaming high note is becoming old and boring. A true fan speaks for its idol and advocates for fairness. Letting things slide again and again is just irresponsible.
I’ve never been more disappointed than this performance. I usually let it pass, especially the mistreatment with the album line distribution, but this performance proved that they really neglect Gehlee and Elisia. They can’t say these girls aren’t fluent in Korean, Nana and Kotoko aren’t fluent too. Let’s be honest, without Eli and Gehlee, this group won’t go viral and popular. These two literally carrying this group when it comes to popularity.

What's the point of Elisia winning No. 1 in the Universe Ticket if they wouldn't use her as the Center & Main Vocal? The fact that twice's bridge is sung by BOTH main vocalists in the group but in UNIS they make seowon sing it alone. & the lines gehlee and elisia did have they weren't even center when they sang it. I've been a silent watcher of UNIS since universe ticket but some fans like to deny the blatant mistreatment the two members face.

Everything in this cover has a lot of negative feedback, to be honest. They say that Gehlee and Elisia doesn't have any lines and solo stans are fighting for it BUT NO. This isn't only concentrated among them, like look at the line distribution. Jin Hyeonju, Bang Yunha, Im Seowon and Nana had the majority of lines. Oh Yoona and Kotoko are rank lower which's surprising since Oh Yoona's Korean and has great vocals. Meanwhile, Kotoko continues of improve so kudos to that. The worst among the members are Elisia and Gehlee which angers the international fans right now (I'm not sure if Pilipinas, Nippon and Hanguk are included). They onlt got 3~5 seconds like, is that reasonable? They shadowed two of their members, of course fans would be furious.
Even if Gehlee has a low tone voice, why couldn't Elisia sang some parts of the song? Why didn't Kotoko sang the other rap parts? Why isn't Oh Yoona qualified in doing vocals for the cover? This is so messed up. Whoever made the line distribution deserves a giant needle bang in their heads.

I am very happy to know that the F&F Entertainment really endorses UNIS in any events and social media contents. It really helps them in gaining fans and popularity. But I do really hope and wish that in their future activities, performance and songs, our Filo idols (Elisia and Gehlee) will have more lines and more exposure. They deserved it naman. Just like what they are doing on our J-Lines (well maybe fluent talaga sila mag korean, I'm not really sure)
Eli/Gehlee can carry UNIS internationally narin especially English countries. We cannot blame our fellow Filos for being a little bit disappointed. I somehow feel the same but nevertheless, I still have high hopes. And I think mas gaganahan yung filo fans natin na mag support pa lalo (especially votings and to win ROTY award to extend their group) if we see that Eli/Gehlee are never left out. Management said that UNIS will get a 4-year contract extension if they'd win the said award. But what's so good of having another 4 years of Eli and Gehlee being neglected? I don't wanna be mean to the other girls, like, Nana is my bias, but I just couldn't stand how they treat Eli and Gehlee.
The two girls don't only have the biggest fanbase among the girls, but they also have stable vocals; Eli's is even comparable to veteran idols. She's also a skilled dancer. -definitely the best all-rounder in the group by far.
I'm aware that this isn't new to kpop, but i honestly kind of thought F&F would make a difference, but nah.

They did those two girls dirty on this one. They totally got side-lined and were just given bread crumbs of an adlib at the end that wasn't even considered a solo line. While the other six members got their solo while placed at the center with close-up solo camera shots. I can't think of a possible excuse, as much as I want to understand the logic on this decision.

Not speaking up is the same as being a doormat. “ What is love” is an insult. Not giving a fair line distribution and dance spotlight to the 2 Filipinos members speaks volume. Not including the 2 Filipinos in SBS thumbnail is like adding insult to injury. Letting the girls stand in the back or outermost end in photo shoots is a glaring and subtle sign of racism and disrespect. They are being put in the sidelines like backup dancers and singers. Not supporting anymore this kind of treatment. Not worth it since you get shortchange by seeing only 6 members constantly highlighted. The screaming high note is becoming old and boring. A true fan speaks for its idol and advocates for fairness. Letting things slide again and again is just irresponsible.
