- Old Providence is one of the few places in the Caribbean that has not been over-run by tourism. It's a place where people are always listening to music and where nothing gets done in a hurry. The BBC's Hernando Alvarez met some of the people who live on the island.

i wanna live there?....do they have high crime?.....
I did my servicio social obligatorio there. Which is something Medical graduates in colomnia have to do. There isnt a lot of violent crimes. I never had to attend someone who had gun injures onky a couple of times I attended some onte with knife injuries, mostly unfaithful husbands or wives. But it is small, internet speed is slow. And overall is not that connected with the world. Sometimes they dont know about colombian politics, much less international ones.
tourist video for a Caribbean Island - if not patronizing as hell.
in what way?
this is the other side of the coin czcams.com/video/N9JxGLmKXEE/video.html
No mention of the high crime rate. Muggings, assaults, cell phone theft, credit card fraud, and burglaries are common for tourists
I'm glad you are not planning on visiting Colombia anytime soon, you wouldn't fit in.
