Sergio Cardales was born here and tells us about his life on this fishermen island. Indeed, people on this island simply live thanks to fishing and tourism.

I respect how happy the man is, he is happy with the wealth of the natural beauty he wakes up to each day.
One of the best documentaries I've recently watched. All the other ones are focused on war, drama, vicious animals, police , hate , on & on. This kind of documentary made me feel good.

What is the method of septic treatment on the island ?
Fresh water seems to be a key factor in the towns.
A series of small solar powered desalinators would give most business local stores fresh water all year long.
The school is charming off shore visitors should bring basic school supplies as gifts.
Pens pencils lined paper notebooks graph paper markers et all the usuals are all imported and hard to buy on island.
A small cash grant to the school would go far there.
I have visited San Andres Island, *Baru Island off Cartagena, and beachfront casita in Bquilla ALL BEAUTIFUL Lived n Rodedero in Santa Marta as volunteer. Colombia ia lovely country. A few well spent budget dollars the island would prosper wisely. * San Andres Island is much different in form and function. RS
