- The U.N. released a big report this week that says among other things, that more than a million species of plants and animals are facing extinction. This is something we need to act on, so to raise awareness, we went out on the street to ask people if they were worried about one endangered species in particular - 'Homo Sapiens.' Homo Sapiens, of course, are humans. So we asked humans if they care about the extinction of humans, and this is what we got back.

I was asked in a med school interview what I think is the biggest issue in the healthcare system and what would I do to fix it. I simply said "I don't know," and explained that the US healthcare system is very complex and I don't know enough about its inner workings to give an informed opinion that's more than just idealistic hopes--"but I know your program has a course on healthcare policy and I'd love to become more informed on the topic in it." The interviewer said that that was the best answer he heard to that question.
