The Warriors: Part 12 (Flashback D: Scout's Honor) [100% Playthrough | Hardcore Soldier]

I'm not a fan of playing as Fox because he has low health and low grapple stamina. Full Rage Mode meter doesn't mean anything if it only takes 5 seconds to drain it, then you have to do a lot of combos to rebuild another full Rage Mode again. I have to focus on my defense if I want to survive this, even so...those Huns have a lot of unblockable movesets especially those running flying kicks, I hate it the fact they spamming that crap.
I really want to avoid as many fights as possible but that would be to dull for ya'll to watch. So, I'll try my best to engage in many fights as much as I can so ya'll understand what kind of BS you gonna have to face if you play this mission.

Yes fox does have low stats
But i like his finishers(his rage finisher) if there was character customization i would pick his rage finishers and grapple moves

I Have Search Info About Fox In The Warriors Fandom Wiki.
It Says That His Strength Comes From His Mental Ability, Rather Than Physical.
Both His Health And Strength Stats Are Below Average, He Has Above Average Stamina, He Is One Of The Characters With The Highest Rage Catability.
He Is Great For Uncuffing Team-mates And Unlocking Some Locked Doors. He Is Decent For Spray Tagging And Stealing. But His Ability For Mugging And Resisting Arrest Sucks Ass.

Some of if not THE best Warriors gamepaly on youtube. I always try to play as good as you when I play lol. Your defense in this game is phenomenal like at 9:00 when your blocking and dodging all those Huns attacks. The only thing is though I feel like blocking isn't explained in this game very good as sometimes your character is able to block attacks and sometimes they just get bodied by an attack like the huns flying kick or their stomach kick. I figured you just have to hold block without pushing anything and face your enemy but sometimes that still doesnt work. Do you have any insights or tips on playing the defense in this game by any chance?

Some characters like Ajax or Ghost can block running attacks like that Huns' flying kicks or heavy attacks like Boppers' haymakers. However, characters like Rembrandt and Cowboy can't even block running punches from weak enemies. I can't conclude anything but I think you can measure how good each and everyone's defense stat is by how good the character is in fighting. For example, Ajax is a great fighter so he should have a strong defense while Rembrandt is prominent in his writing skill and not so much in fighting. You have to experiment each and every character if you're a defensive type player like me.
Blocking is pretty much useless when you're a one man army like in that 9:00 situation because you will still get hit. I had to block because I had no choice since I got surrounded. The only good thing of blocking in that kind of situation is that the counter attack animation cannot be interrupted. Yes, you still get hit but you won't get bodied from a flying kick blows because of that counter attack animation.
My tip for you would be to know when is the correct time to block and avoid using block when you're a one man army unless you're desperate. Try practicing in Survival Mode if you want to be a good defensive player. I know I did one Survival Mode using a mediocre fighter before:

Oh yeah, you can only do counter attack for certain high attack moves. Just hold block and it should work.

Since he's a scout I guess they made him weak on purpose. Still he was able to hold his own with Ghost with Vermin's help of course. Fox and Cochise had some insane initiations.

You're right. Since he is a scout, he does not need to a good brawler but he still got one of the toughest assignment which is pretty messed up.
