• THIS WAS COMMONLY ASKED TO ME, I DID NOT USED A SPECIAL SCRIPT OR SEPARATE SCRIPT FOR THE ANIMATIONS. IF YOU'RE WONDERING ABOUT WHAT THE SCRIPT I USED, IT'S JUST THE TANKENTAI SBS (ATB) AND TREBOR's VIDEO SCRIPT FOR THE CG ANIMATIONS. ABOUT THE SUMMONS, I JUST USED THE SEQUENCES TANKENTAI PROVIDES AND GET A GOOD USE OF IT PLUS EDITED SOME EXISTING ANIMATIONS SHEETS AND MAKE SOME OF MY OWN AND ARRANGE THEM IN THE ANIMATION EDITOR. THAT'S IT AND NOTHING ELSE. •

I altered the overdrive gauge for instant fill, well i guessed you should know that for testing purposes. (I don't wanna wait 'til it fills-up by doing so many actions)
I know this isn't perfect but I think this the best i can make using the TANKENTAI SBS. Well im satisfied to the results even though I want it to be better and for 4-12hrs a day (depends of my time availability) and finished for almost a couple of months, i think it paid-off :D
As you can see most animations are based on FF8 (well that's my fav FF series)
Making the animations is hard specially Gilgamesh cause he has 4 random attacks.

great summons. good to know it is possible to make a game with summons in it. wounder if the summons can be done in the style of the golden sun games. i always liked the way that game series showed it's summons off.
How did you make it so that the sprites disappeared during the sequence?

well i really like the FF's magic/skill/summon effects. actually a also made an animation for magics and limit breaks, but im not able to upload it cause my PC almost broke at the time i made this...

well being literal with that "quantity" thing, 1 summon animations consist 100-300 frames most of them has 2 separated animations connected using the TANKENTAI SBS script.
as you can see, Gilgamesh used 5 different animation ID's (1 for his intro and 4 others for his random attacks)

Hey, I just recently started playing around with animations on rpg maker vx ace, but was wondering how you make an animation that hits all enemies, but shows the animation only hitting one enemy, right now if there are four enemies, it summons four rock golems, and each uses the animation, but i want just one rock golem and one animation... Help please :(

@Anthrenz It´s the wrong thing of using google traslator instead applying effort in write directly XD. Yes, I´m mean if it´s possibly to choose an Eon in the Menu of Summons, but i see that it´s not possibly. Anyway...How can I do a summon menu like this? Could you please make a tiny-tutorial for this purpose?. Thanks in advice

there's no HP bar or anything there. the orange bar is for LIMIT BREAK (overdrive) or whatever you want to call it. while the blue/green bar is for ATB gauge. the orange bar disappear cause that mean that you have used your limit break...
if you're wondering why it's so fast to fill is because it's only a test mode

Hm .. Just as I wanted XD Although I am following a tutorial "Alternative" to make the invocation is a character, I think your system is more in line with what I want. How have you managed to make the menu with the invocations?. That is, they can choose, I have made and truly functional, but I need a menu selection. like yours .. How I can do?

@Anthrenz in Rave Master theres an old man named Shiva who used to control the Decaforce Sword(or the Ten Commandments, as in the Japanese version)but then his powers where passed on to the protagonist, Haru.
See a lot of FF8 inspiration! Rockin' out hard.
How did you change the battle environnement?? (Players at tge right and monsters at the left (instead of monster at the middle and no players)
Is this similiar to RPG Makeer XP? If so which one is newer? also is it possible to make a hack n slash using any of the two programs?
this is not all the summons from all Final Fantasy Series. just included the basic elemental summons, although for HOLY it must be ALEXANDER, i just love ULTIMA's animation that why i've chose her insted of Alex :P

it's a feature in the battle system im using. but i think theres an option in ace that you can set so the animation will not repeat in all enemies. sorry i cant remember cause im not using rpgmaker anymore, you can test it around :)

the HP limit is increase in SBS Tankentai script. from 999,999 to 9,999,999. and there's a separate script that can also bypass more than 10m HP and other stat limit. well in this vid the SKELETON (LEADER) has an immortal state set to him. so he cant die, except in ODIN's ZANTETSUKEN...
It's very impressive ! But,how did you get this battle HUD ? I really like it and it absolutely remind me nothing.
there's a script called "TANKENTAI SBS" just search for it in forum, but of course the battle animatin/spritesheet was made by, both the images used and the script sequence

Can make it were you can switch teammates? like one stack is idle and the others you can use to battle?

well cactuar is originally a final fantasy character/monster. let's just say he's a special guest in Mario Hoops 3on3 :)

how did you get that battle view? mine is earthbound kinda view
actually this is not my self-made "summon system". the actual codes i used is already in "tankentau sbs script". i've just use the script features to make a "summon like system". if there's an original work i've done, it's only the animations sheets. i have created some animations sheets, but mostly it's just modified. artworks credits goes to its respective creators, such as square-enix, rpgmaker vx and so on..

I remember reading somewhere that you wiped your hard drive?
If so there is professional recovery software out there (not the bad you find on the internet). The free Hirens Boot CD 10.4 or 15.x depending if you have XP or later has some amazing software when you load your PC with the CD. Ive seen it fully recover data that has been written over 2-3 times. Might be worth a shot =]
well not to mention the game VALKYRIE PROFILE which is slightly accurate, but odin has 2 functional eyes in that game. anyway in case you havent played FINAL FANTASY 8, you can search the vid of odin in action here in YT. use this as search tag "Final Fantasy 8 Guardian Forces - Odin". watch the video that "markun2ffmovie" uploaded
and here's what zantetsuken means:
斬 - "Zan" - decapitation
鉄 - "Tetsu" - iron
剣 - "Ken" - sword
@Anthrenz Limit Breaks are essentially the same things as Overdrive, but with different names (Limit Breaks are unique to each character special abilities).
what script are you using for the side view combat
im rather new to RMXP, and im working on my own game(s) i have a main few, but others for fun, is RMVX any diffrent? and trust me I understand, my computer is very... "special"... i have to be careful with it

Would you share with me your animation sprite ? I'm desesperly looking for animation like those, and the only one i've found are some RPGM XP version and not for VX or VX ace :( ! Pleaaaaasseee
the diff between XP and VX other than the RGSS codes are that XP has a taller sprites for characters, while VX mentains the classic JRPG small/chibi characters...

Why you use 3D animation for some summons and sprites animation for others?
if you're talking about bahamut, bahamut fury, phoenix and odin, they're all from FF7:CRISIS CORE (PSP)
which one should i install? i have 2 options: RPGVX or RPGVX_RTP?

im just trying my best to put a good use to the default RTP sound effects to be sound like the original final fantasy sound effects
sorry dude but that time i dont have a plan to release a demo. in this is not a summoning system, i've just used the tankentai SBS script to the fullest (for me that's my fullest cause im not a scripter) to make a sequence like that. if there's special about it, it's the animations sheets that i have edited using photoshop + arranging them in the VX animation editor. nothing more :)
oh i forgot about FFV. well its not random. he uses the GUNGNIR if he cant 1-hit KO the enemy or the enemy has a resistance on death

if you're talking about the TANKENTAI SBS, yes there's a port from VX to ACE. i dont know if it's already translated...

WELL, yes, but the purpose of this video is the show an add-on(?) that is used in a GAME MAKER
