It’s all so chic and fabulous 😍😍😍Anyone remember the Walmart brand they did back in the day?? So for them to come from that to this is amazing. They are also respected and embraced by the fashion industry Which is not easy for “celebrity” lines.

I agree with you completely. I love their sense of style and the way they compose their fashions but the truth is I'm not too crazy about their fur and skin usage for their designs. The sad thing is that they do it so well, even WITH the fur and they make it look so nice! Honestly, though, I think it'd look just as amazing with faux fur and imitation animal skins. They're great at what they do, nevertheless.
Then you'd look very cheap....there is a reason why they didn't choose faux fur! This is The Row, not Zara!!
@@ZaZa-ib6un it's also a lot more sustainable to have high quality clothes that use animal skins/furs than "vegan" leather jackets and fur coats that damage the environment with every wash and fall apart within months just to be replaced

@@projectmira actually faux fur isn’t very sustainable considering it’s literal plastic that never will bio degradable… meanwhile real fur is a naturally reoccurring resource 🤷🏼♀️ unless you’re a vegan there’s really no reason other than pure hypocrisy and PETA brainwashing that you wouldn’t wear fur lol because if you actually researched how many animals are killed by micro plastics each year you would see why faux fur is actually more harmful than fur itself

real fur and leather is beautiful.
The amount of people that comment on how they use too much leather/fur - let's take into account that SO many other well-known fashion brands all use real fur/leather, but don't get nearly as much stick as the Olsens. Also..anyone commenting about it who; eats meat, wears leather shoes/jackets or owns a leather sofa, wears uggs (I could go on) are being so hypocritical.

I don't have a problem with your criticism in itself, but how does wearing fur from non-endangered animals somehow warrant boycotting in a nation where almost everyone regularly and unnecessarily consumes dead animals? If anything, I see less reason to go after fur companies because fur consumption is infrequent and carefully considered. Most consumers buy it several times in their life and take good care of it so as to preserve its use for future generations. Most meat eaters consume meat several times in a week and it has no longevity.

And I suggest you reread my comment, because I never made a statement as to whether I think it is ethical or not, nor did I comment on the fur industry's treatment of animals. What I did say is that it's ridiculous to treat Mary-Kate and Ashley's use of fur as somehow different to the mass consumption of meat and other animal products. MK&A are also neither vegan nor vegetarian, but how many people have had similar reactions because of that?
I think it's great that people today can extend their sympathies to other species but it's disappointing that we are still so easily swayed by emotion. People's indignation toward animal use should be determined by the cruelty suffered and not by the exoticism/cuteness of the animal nor the luxury status or popularity of the industry in question.

Lalala. I just read about "The Row", it's not the olsen twins who design their clothes, there's actually a REAL fashion designer behind them, THAT REALLY DESIGNS. So fake. Search it in google. "Fashion designer behind the olsen twins". They just say what they like to the designer and whalah, finish. So HYPOCRITE.
Actually all fashion houses have a team of designers that come up with ideas and put the clothes together Marc Jacobs, De La Renta, Donatella, Michael Kors etc . I was also taken aback I thought high end designers like Marc Jacobs did all the work and they just have assistants but nope. But I'm sure the Olsens have full creative control.
