Viking girl looks SO MUCH BETTER as a Viking. You can tell she's passionate about historically inspired fashion. Seeing her as a Kardashian just reinforces how great she was to begin with.

I also love traditional Viking stuff and the whole community that surrounds it. But my boyfriend will still look at me in a swimsuit and think.. “oh damn”..

I love the last one because I felt that as well. I went totally punk and shaved my head and got tattoos and tons piercings and I didn’t have sleeves or anything but recently started growing my hair back and took out many of my ear piercings just because it felt nice to not have them in and I realized that I’m still the same person. I still feel like a bad ass without all that. It’s what’s inside you. It’s not a mistake to experiment with different looks and even tattoos I think have wonderful meaning if you think about them and get meaningful ones but don’t ever get stuck feeling like you have to look a certain way. I’m hoping now to be in the middle - I love my septum ring and I think I will always love it but I’m growing my hair back.
I think the tattoo guy ended up Ken doll because the foundation/cover up they used was sliiigghttlllyy yellower than his actual skintone, which made it look slightly off
We needed a little colour in the cheeks and lips too, just a natural amount so it looked realistic
I really enjoy these makeovers. Unbelievable how different these people look but have you noticed the pattern of friends that are not supportive of the new look and make stupid comments?
The Viking woman and Danny look so beautiful as their selves. Everyone does really. Be yourself because everyone else is taken.

Tomboys makeover is really pretty I would just suggest a different style dress and color.
Jodi looks STUNNING, as Viking girl too. Would have looked gorgeous if they didn't Paris Hilton her. Y2K fashion was fun for a glance but other looks would have been interesting.
that girl with pink dress and black hear was actually happy with how she looked until her friend showed up and crapped all over it. now she porb won't want to try new things and she should. I love these videos but let's not forget that irl there are ppl in our inner circle who will pretend they want the best for us but are just insecure assholes who want to keep us down so always evaluate ppl close to u no matter who they are!

The viking girls makeover reminds me of Mariah Carey kinda and it's obvious her hubby was happy.

I don't blame the first girl what an ugly yellow sweater and the head band and uggs. They could of chosen a better fashion choice.
I’ve only just come across this show. Initially I didn’t like the concept. It feels like a push towards conformity for no real reason. However the last girl in this video makes me feel otherwise
I've watched quite a few of these episodes and I notice that most of the gothic girls don't have any eyebrows left of their own.
I wonder why that is.
And I think they almost always look better before transformation, but if a friend of mine would do this I'd react more neutral, not as judgmental as most friends/family does in these episodes, because maybe they do like their new look and its not nice to be so weird about it.
Im54 can only speak for myself, but I'm goth some,shaving brows for about17years I have a hair pulling disorder,nerves,was nursing my baby27years ago,and she wouldn't tolerate me reading papers rustling,ect could only tweezers one brow,got made fun of in jail by younger girls,decided it best to draw them on ,
because they --they shave them? Eyebrows tend to limit you when you want a more artistic brow.
They shave, their makeup tends to change the original eyebrow shape one can have, hiding your eyebrow isn't the easiest (tons of glue, powder, tons of fondation) so shaving is great when you do that all the time
Do the people in these videos really dress this way all the time, everywhere, every day. The tattoos are one thing but the far out there clothes are something else.

My heart breaks for the people covered in tattoos. It is their choice and I am probably old-fashioned. But I just see it as ruined skin of our perfect creation.
What would happen if they received more love earlier in life, and felt supported. Would they still get those? I wonder.
Why did they have to put the one heavyset woman in a hideous outfit?
