Saba T116V TV Restoration & Repair Part 2: Stuck Potentiometers

Its part 2 now and in this Video I will be fixing the big PICTURE Potentiometer of the 1960's SABA TV.
Since this is such an old part the grease in it has solidified and you can no longer turn it.

Good fix on the frozen pot, an easy way to free them up is to apply heat to the shaft with a soldering iron, this melts the old grease and allows the shaft to slide out easily.

WD-40 is not a lubricant. WD-40 is a solvent. Use something like sewing machine oil.
