  • @coma144

    I'm surprised Michael Owen only just realized Son is 2 footed based on the stats. Has been that way for a long time - technically superb ball striker, and purely from a skills-technical point the best in the league. From a stats perspective, Son is the most clinical finisher in pro soccer - he has a goal conversion rate of 44%, highest across all leagues with second being Lewandowski on 34%. As Tim alludes, he gets so little chances - just imagine if he was at liverpool or man city - he would be scoring 50 every season.

      No. In football, things not going like what u say. Different role, different job to do, different play style.
      All those stuff Will affect player performance. A lot of great player failed to keep performed good in different club. Even with better club, a player need to adapt and compete.
      Its not like mathematics, 1+1=2.
      Not that simple.

    • @coma144

      @@studiokelasteri7284 nothing is really that black or white of course, but the reality is Son Son has 12 open play goals in 28 shots, and as an example Kane has 7 open play goals in 61 shots and I'm willing to wager no one else is near Son in terms of goal efficiency. Simply put, even taking into account different factors, you would expect that eventually, if Son has anywhere near the attempts at goals that other players like Kane, Salah etc has, based on his efficiency he would be knocking over a lot more goals.

      The only thing Tottenham needs is more consistent distribution. I used Kane as a CAM in my FUT squad and he is nasty in that role with his sharp passing and insane shot power and accuracy in and outside the box. Son as striker would be devastating considering how good his finishing is off both wings. Both of them are a threat in the air, with someone to fill Eriksen’s role and consistent attacking from their wingbacks they are world class and unplayable.

      you forget to tell this if he takes on penalty , he could make 50 goals or more every season. i think they need fix the rule about the top scorer . they need to take the goal off from the total goal . only count field goal. not penalty

      Were they humble or just a little bit ashamed at the fact they scored only one spectacular and well deserved goal.
      Maybe you can plan for a penalty (which no goalkeeper should ever save)
      Maybe the opposition goalkeeper falling over his own goal line with the ball is something the Tottenham team practice over and over.
      Let's face it.... Premiership babies Leeds United played Tottenham to exhaustion and the result does not reflect the terrific performance from Leeds.
      When two of your players score over 75% of your goals you don't have a team.

      the reasons kane got so many assists is due to clinical finishing from son this season. son got little chances but he scored almost every chances he got. but kane's passing skills is quite underrated though. he passes better than any players in the squad

    What has change? Harry Kane is finally passing. Over the years Son has made the same runs but, Kane was a shoot on site , which frustrated the other players this year , for some reason, either Kane can’t get forward as quickly or has Jose changed the mentality of Kane.

      I would love to see people credit Jose for the work he does but I know I'm dreaming. If this was Klopp or Pep or even OGS or Lampard we would see headlines everywhere about how they transformed Kane into a more complete player

    • @cockoffgewgle4993
      @cockoffgewgle4993 Před 3 lety

      Son has been better than Kane but still Kane gets more praise. Kane only has so many assists because Son's finishing has been insane. Kane has far more shots than Son, Son has more key passes, Son does more running and work for the team. His pace enables Tottenham to play the way they do.
      If Spurs get a 3rd prong to that attack and a CB they could challenge for the title.

  • @Altair11125
    @Altair11125 Před 3 lety +2

    It has to be something with the way Jose positions the team, it reminds of how Real was counter attacking and scoring with 3-4 touches. Sometimes when you playing control football you just can not reach those numbers because the opposition positions differently on the field. You could take Kane and Son put them in Man City and probably have less than what they have scored this season. Due to simply the way gaps are made when playing against Tottenham at this moment.

      No they don't. They are so deep in their emotions and are biased, and have no insight on the game from the managers points of views, they think they do but they really don't plus they think they know what the fans want and expect and accept but they don't know that too for example Sherwood has been going on about how 'awful' Spurs performances under Jose is and that fans don't like it but he fails to see that those same fans had the most entertaining football under Poch but won nothing so they don't care about "beautiful" soccer not so much at this point, they want to win trophies by backing their manager. Pundits like Owen, Redknapp, Sherwood, Scholes, Ferdinand and maybe Gary Neville think they are football experts but they aren't, Phil Nevile is the better pundit even if he's a united fan.
