Yamaha GL-1 comes set up for A tuning. All the Caramel models come tuned to E. I like my Yamaha tuned to A just fine, but ymmv.

Cani ask? I am intrested buying a Guitalele, i dont like thats higher tuned and would like to have it just like the original guitar, EADGHE. I have to change strings for that? Do i just have to insert the guitar strings to guitalele? Would that work?

Hi, thanks for your interest, you need to buy an, E to E set of strings for the guialele, not guitar strings, my Caramel guitalele came with the E to E strings, i am very happy with my caramel, best wishes, Pete,
