  • Dit was eens kreef, maar nou is eiendom die Kaapse Weskus se nuwe goud. En boukontrakteurs en eiendomsagente in veral St Helenabaai ervaar 'n stormloop soos min. St Helena Bay on the Cape West Coast is experiencing a property gold rush.

I have just bought a lovely house in St Helena. Great place to relax. The locals should welcome development as it creates jobs. Not sure about the logic in previous comments

Be careful of bad builders and estate agents. All looks pretty but a lot of bad business practices...

I agree, that small town feeling will disappear and it'll become like Sun City.

@@olivialagrange6614 Not so maam, look at every little town that gets airtime where property is reasonable. As soon as it's advertised, property that was going for 200k suddenly goes through the roof. From being a sleepy little town you find all the Vaalies turn up and turn it into a seasonal Woodstock. Yes, it's good for business but what about the citizens that moved there precisely to leave that life behind?
