I congratulate you for the high quality of the boots you produce, I especially admired the boots made of Bison leather. Since there is an economic crisis in Turkey, we have to work for 20 -25 days to get the boot you produced, so I only see it on the PC screen.
Got three pairs of JK’s. Summer, cold weather and a pair for desert. Wear them every single day all over the world doing every imaginable kind of work. I’d never go anywhere else for boots. Best customer service and best product. However good you think they’re gonna be, they’re way better!
Gorgeous. I learned a couple things watching this. You sew your tongue on before you sew the upper to the lower, and I learned something about the way you lasted that heel. I'm going to try that the next time I build a boot. Keep these videos coming. ❤
Glad to see a steel shank in a PNW boot, the leather shank is ok but nothing beats a steel shank for climbing. Hoffman boots I believe started a dual shank system and it’s awesome, I believe Wesco offers it as well, would JK ever offer that in a custom climbing boot?

I like the look of your climbing boots, would be cool if they came with the option of 2 steel shanks as well, double midsole would be nice but that leather climbing shank might provide the same support. I’ve climbed poles for 18years now and really Hoffman makes the best climbing boots, Wesco’s are great too if you add the 2 shank option on a custom order, unfortunately Wesco has the longest lead time these days, I think like 18 months now! I may try a pair of your climbing boots in the coming future and see how they fair. Thanks!
Question: I have two pairs of handmade boots from two different boot makers and neither of them are usable. One pair made by Frank's Boots are super well-made and awesome to look at. Unfortunately, they're 1/16th of an inch too short and kill one of my toes by noon. I've tried over and over to break them in, but it's a no-go. The other pair is made by Origin Boots, and they were sort of thrown together without concern for fit and finish. They're more comfortable than the Frank's, but I can't use them for work. Do you guys take in boots and re-do them? By the way … I'm going to buy JK Boots when I can afford to. I'm already out nearly $1200.00 on these other brands.
This is all very impressive but they are not using the Goodyear Welt construction. They are relying on glue to hold the main part of the boot together, and for waterproofing, also they are stiching inside the boot? They are punching a load of holes through the sole, throught the leather footbed, and into the dry foot area, then gluing in and insole to cover the holes, That is madness in a quality boot. Look up Loake shoemakers England and watch how it should be done, how it has been done for hundreds of years. These are good boots but not worth the price

Disappointing, I wanted more info on the arch support. No detail given of what grade of leather and why you use it. There are better videos that explain their craftsmanship.
