What a nice teaching ..what can i say ? Thanks a lot Wes. I wish you would organize or have a real conversation and use all words you thought us someday.
Thanks for your comment. I'll keep that in mind for the future. 👍
@InteractiveEng Wes, sir, I believe that “as far as I’m concerned” is far too common an expression to be considered B2.
Be that as it may-which is a _real_ B2 expression, if not C1-as far as I really _am_ concerned, you’re my personal favorite online English teacher. 😇
Enjoy life, Wes! You only live once.
16:46 - there is a Russian actor in the movie. Good job 👍
Thanks so much for commenting & checking out the lesson. 😊
@@InteractiveEng It seems that the video has suffered changes! Some shorts of movies were cut. I didn’t know that there is the nationalism in international world ! It’s a pity !
Have I finished building my vocabulary? The other way around, as far as I'm concerned I'll keep building it for as long as I have a pulse 😊.

I got 2 questions while binge watching your vids
Snap - pic
1. Can I get a snap with U instead of can I get a picture with u
2.halt - stop
Can I use halt pulling my hair instead of stop pulling my hair.
Wow, thank you! I appreciate your comment. In both your examples, I don't think those words are interchangeable in those contexts. 😊

Is take's one breath away the same as blow one's socks off or blow one's mind??
Yes, they are similar. But I think 'take one's breath away' is more appropriate with things that are beautiful. 👍
I’m wondering if I can say : I lost my track (in the meaning:I forgot what I would say) 😊
You could say, "I lost track of what I was saying." 👍
@@InteractiveEng thanks Wes so much. Great video as usual. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪

I hope you enjoyed the lesson and learned some new expressions. 😉
I don't want to see anyone. You broke my Heart ❣️❤️. Wes. Hey between you and me, cracking jokes.😮😮😮
We are all learning together, I think we should say, ‘you and I’ instead of you and me
Thanks for commenting & sharing with us. 👍
Can we say' it crossed mind'instead l didnt get it through my head, sir
Yes, you can say "It didn't cross my mind," whenever you did not think of something. In this context, you would not say "I didn't get it through my head." Hope this helps. 👍
@@InteractiveEng sir, l appreciate your prompt response.would you kindly say what's the difference
@@samsamarakon4574You may use these idioms in different contexts as they are not synonyms. "It didn't cross my mind to ask him where he was heading". "He can't seem to get it through his head that I'm not interested in working with him."
Ok wes, belive me what i m telling you. You are a wonderful teacher. But i don't want to flatter you. But here sometimes peopel is imposible to understand. They "balbucean". I can't understand what they are talking about. Please asure your students don't be frustrated about that. I i don't understand them at all. My advise! Carry on and go ahead. Some Young peopel don't ( vocalizan). I' m spanish. keep going with your good work.

"We were obliged to protect the city at all costs."
"Well, I know I told you I would just stop over at his home a little, but you know, I lose track of time while being with him."
"No one really likes you, and I guess you won't be flabbergasted to hear you're such a pain in the neck!"
"This meetup might break the ice and make you feel each other," he suggested.
"I'm really sorry," I said, staring at the floor. "It stupidly crossed my mind!"
Thank you so much for this breathtaking lesson!
Best regards from an Ukrainian.
It just took my breath away!
After reading the thesaurus I have a strong vocabulary of useless synonyms ...
They’re unnecessary, worthless and redundant ...
