    I got mine as a gift and i can say that they are really good for the money. Comparing them with headphones that cost literally twice as much isn't the best way to review them. They obviously don't have the same build quality, sound and functions but that don't make them bad headphones. If you are on a tight budget, for 40 dollars there aren't many options for wireless headphones( at least in my country). They have good sound, long battery life and look clean. In my opinion if you are looking for a relatively cheap way to try wireless headphones that's the choice. You will quickly realize the convenience of having no cable.

      they are confortable? I have ones called Dcybel Liberty Black which aren´t very confortable over the time but the rest is fine.

    • @kyosev942
      @kyosev942 Před 4 lety +11

      They are fine. I wear glasses so most headphones become uncomfortable if I wear them for more 2-3 hours.But that doesn't mean they are bad. Just keep that in mind if you wear glasses. Plus they are working perfectly after more than 2 months.

    I just picked up a pair of these, and I'm honestly not disappointed. They work well for me; the headband padding (rather, the lack thereof) isn't an apparent issue for me, the ear pads are plenty comfortable, and the build quality works well for the price. As for the sound, I fixed it with an app (on Android) called Wavelet. The app will automatically adjust your output device's EQ settings to get it sounding great while still allowing for personal flare in its adjustment after the fact. I use it on my first gen Pixel Buds to force them to sound better to me, overall a good app. Great review, top notch 10/10!

      CH510 is good enough to transfer from wired MDR ZX to wireless. Not everyone want to increase the weight from 125 grams to 200 grams on their neck and head skin. If the user wear it all day, neck pain and hair lost can be a potential problem.

    • @prashanthan4
      @prashanthan4 Před 2 lety

      I just got a pair of these headphones whilst travelling and was shocked at how good the auto-tune preset on Wavelet is for this model! When you select WH-CH510 it has an EQ ready which sounded great to me. For the £24 I paid for these headphones, it worked out great! Also easy pairing and assistant triggering.

    Built quality on them is actually quite good (good quality plastic, well put together). In terms of sound: it is excellent for the price, not for the bass head, but it has enough warmth. The sound spectrum is well balanced through all frequencies. There is enough depth and nice sound stage, instruments are placed in their own music space (not congested or flat sounding). Spaciousness is there, sounds are coming from different directions and it has enough air (actually quite a lot considering these are closed backs). Well balanced sound through out the range, nice and coherent which brings overall sound quality to a higher level than expected. Trebles are not harsh with nice extension. Hi hats don't sound like metal tins on them. Bass is not muddy and fast enough to keep the pace in more complicated and crowded music with more things going on. They do benefit from 15-20 hours of burn in period. Battery life is enormous. After few hours ears start hurting from clumping force and that's the only problem with them.

    As you've stated you like Sony XM3 sound signature. CH510 have different sound signature so no wonder you don't like them. I think apart from bass heads people will really like them. I actually like the sense of space and imaging of WH-CH510. Separation, layering of instruments and is great for this price. Very good tonal balance throughout the range, mids are warm and not recessed. Bass doesn't go very low (bass is well controlled though) but these are far from sounding dry. Good quality bass, not boomy at all. Highs are not harsh, I would call them natural. Plastic quality is surprisingly good. 3D imaging is surprisingly good (all the sounds coming from different directions around your head). Sound is not congested. These headphones are closer to studio monitors (again: not dry sounding, the bass is there). After around 10-15 hours of listening - sound improves (burn-in process).

    well the XB700 costs more than twice of CH510 (under normal price, no sales). But it's not even close to being twice as good. The only performance feature in XB700 over CH510 is the Extra Bass.. I am definitely not paying 70 bucks extra for that single feature. CH510 is my first ever pair of wireless headphones and I love it for its price and the battery life is just astounding. Before purchasing any unexperienced devices, we go through such reviews which give us half view sometimes. I have a very bad experience with Sony CH-510, the thing which has not be mentioned in the video or comments was its Microphone is the biggest disaster, if you attend any call; it will echo not only your voice but also nearby sounds.. which will blew your ears and brain.. Later I had an online chat with Sony and their remarks are "The volume level and sensitivity of the Sidetone function can't be adjusted and can't be turned off. What we can recommend you is to make sure that it's not too close to your mouth. If the microphone is too close, it may cause an echo or make your voice too loud."

    I have had these since 2020, which is 3 years as of time of writing this comment, and here are the pros and cons:
    Pros:
    • The sound is still good even after all the time passed, nothing has ever sounded distorted or bad when wearing these
    • The ear padding still has no signs of damage, even after 3 years
    • Bluetooth, which means you could go to the kitchen and make a sandwhich while listening to your Metal Gear Rising Revengeance playlist, as when the heat is low and the pan is hot, your cat waits to see what falls
    • Speaking of Bluetooth, the battery life is really good, it can last for days or even weeks without charging, depending on the use time, and considering that battery lifetime is a big problem in modern devices, it's a W for this model
    • The design is very simple and compact, nothing too fancy to carry around in your backpack that will take up most of your space
    Cons:
    • The ratchet head size adjustment mechanisms have started to get really loose, so no more satisfying sounds of clicking and precise switching from click to click
    • No head padding on the inner top sure do make a difference, and trust me, you would not wanna take them off after 2 hours of use and feel your hair fusing with your skull
    • The simple design may not please some, but not me

    Dude, you're crazy... the differences you talk about are almost not noticeable... all these headphones are 90% same. I notice you make videos for one product and promote another product in the video, probably you have some interest from that.

    For me build quality is not that important, as long as it doesn't fall apart. And I got them for 24.95 EUR. They sound just fine and I like that the battery lasts long.

    I don’t know if there are people who have the same problem but when I connected it to my MacBook you heard the sound the microphone picked up to it was pretty annoying.
    Since there’s a tutorial to fix it for windows I assume there more people with this problem and I haven’t seen a fix for MacBook so.
    You need to go so settings.
    Go to sound.
    Go to input.
    Change the input from Bluetooth to MacBook.
    That should fix it.

    • @farrelbram227

    • @keizercas6051
      @keizercas6051 Před 2 lety

      @@farrelbram227 yes it’s in options or settings, the little gear icon, and than just go to sound, and there should be 3 options, sound effects, output, and input, and input should chance to MacBook instead of Bluetooth

    Ive got them. they sound amazing, but thats it. Theyre uncomfortable, feel like theyre going to break all the time, have no aux plug thingy, and arent portable in any eay. If u want budget headphones get anker soundcore life q20. They have better features and are over ear so are more comfortable

    First it bugs me that you call them “whacha 510.” Just had to say that.
    Also, I’ve had these WH-CH510 headphones for 2 years and although you say they feel flimsy, they are NOT in fact flimsy at all. They are sturdy. My only complaints is that for the first few weeks of wearing (for several hours everyday) my ears became real tender and sore. Also, they are $60 NOT $40.

      Good question. I was surprised to see its charging power. It takes almost 5V and a mere 0.15 Amps of current. Now that is Super Duper slow charging speed. Still charging it for an hour or so makes it work for days (Since I have around 4-5 hours of playback everyday).
