It's the most common form of acceleration in UK as we usually go from a 30mph limit onto a motorway which has a 70mph limit
that particular Mercedes doesnt have a 6.2 BTW it has 4.0
you say the golfs interior isn't the most flashy interior. What would you say has the nicest interior for the sort of money?
Mercedes probably has the best interior going where as a gold interior I just think it looks rubbish

It should be above 400 there's a guy near me who has a MRC stage 2 tuned golf r and he said his is at 410

same engine, same chassis, golf has slightly better handling stock.
Audi S3 better interior, for me the mk7 looks and drives better.
Had an S3, sold it a few weeks back, I prefer Golfs due to the exterior look and how convenient it is.

6 speed is this not dq 381 box?
This is a Mk7 not Mk7.5 - so it has a DQ250

They are fast for the money but the 4 wheel drive drivetrain is so dull , you will get bored of it !

I think the problem with this car is that it is dreadfully dull, it feels like they haven’t changed the shape of it for 30 years. Frankly, it could accelerate as fast as an F1 and still be an underwhelming place to sit. Sorry Golf R drivers.
All a matter of opinion, I like them because they typically fly under the radar and unless people know they won’t know. I drive a facelift S3 of the same era because I wanted something a little more special but still a little understated which is good for me because I’m not a flash person 😂
I have a golf gti and I love the looks. It is little suitable and few little tweaks so you know its different, but nothing too in your face. That's what I want. But everyone is different
I have to disagree completely with you. The interior is very well put together and is an awesome place to be. The every day performance that is on tap regardless of road or weather conditions make the Golf R a supercar killing sleeper. Very appealing car
You can’t be wrong because it’s all subjective. Because we’re in 2024 they do now look a bit aged. However, like me if you upgrade to the virtual dash and the MIB 2.5 button less infotainment system you’re in a total different position
@michael6125 True, I have the mk 7.5 so much bigger screen, digital dials, looks very fresh still
race mode but you dont use it right 70 mph shit to fast lol
