Promotional-video to their NEW 7" LOST IN TIME. Co-writer and inspiration: Neal Ford of Neal Ford & The Fanatics! Original band-promo-video on the band´s youtube-channel.
Beautiful 60s time reconstruction. It somewhat reminds me of The Chesterfield Kings and I can easily detect some strong influence sound coming from The Who and The British Invasion music era as well. Thank you, Johnny, Montreal, Canada 🌹🌎🌈🙏👍💖
These guys from Germany rock! I love the authenticity they show! It's like 1966 all over again! "Lost In Time" is a killer track!!!! I've noticed that the 60's Punk Garage Band revival is starting up again! I hope it never goes away cause it's the greatest era in rock music! How I wish today's kids could understand what REAL music is! '66 Forever!!!!
This song is co-written by Neal Ford of the classic garage band, Neal Ford and The Fanatics! These guys are truly "the German KINGS of 1960's garage rock..."the German priests of Fuzz". This song alone is better than 90% of the rock/rap crap that passes for music on the radio. Grade A, extra-large, 24-karat song, I love it !! Give me MORE !!
Wow - have never heard this before...this could sit right alongside the Miracle Workers’ ‘One Step Closer to You’ for that ultra-cool, ultra-hot 60s punk sound...
I grew up in the 60's listening to all the great music.....the satelliters would've fit right in. Man they sound great....like an oasis in the desert....they offer relief from all the modern crap out there! Gonna go out and buy their music.
Larry L...definitely agree with your assessment. I was born in 1952 and also had the opportunity to hear music like this when it was first was created. The country was screwed up and in great turmoil (Vietnam, Civil Rights, protests/demonstrations/violence/riots, Cold War)...but at least we had great music. Even though mainstream music nowadays is "pretty vacant" (to paraphrase the Sex Pistols) there are still some good bands out there, they're just not receiving lots of exposure. We'd have called them underground back in the day, whereas nowadays they're referred to as Indie, I guess. Check out a group called the Ugly Beats. They're from Austin, Texas (historically a great town for counterculture/underground music). If you like The Satelliters, you'll definitely dig them...real '66-sounding psych/punk garage band music. They also have a tasty chick in mini-dresses/skirts and Go-Go boots playing a Vox or Farfisa organ.
there's actually a ton of music like this coming from my generation lol like a literal shitton. anyway, the "music was better back in the day" shit is just old ppl lost in nostalgia who don't hear nothin but what comes on the radio. the radio mighta been better back in the day, but every generation has the good and the bad. and my generation has some gotdam amazing music. and the internet opened shit up. u can be recordin music in a basement and release yr shit to the world.
Great stuff. I wish I was in this band. This is the sound I really love. Good to see in returning. Punk got it's start with this sound. Say bye bye to hip hop.
One thing that the digital age just can't quite duplicate is the sound of the old audio tubes. Digital things can go A/D conversion with what they claim is as many bits as they need and it is all beyond what the human ear can detect but I disagree. Old Fender and marshall amps with big tubes just have a rich sound that modern things don't have. Not all bad, but some times definitely very different
And of course the clicks and snaps and pops as the vinyl spun around on my record player turntable. After a while you come to expect it and know when a certain part of a song is going to happen as if the pop was part of the recording!
I am 14 and I love this band and 60's rock, but you are right, most of the young people these days, just want to listen to shit. And by the way I would like to say again, what a great band!!
actually the lyrics to this song are from neal ford, he found out that the sateliters had recorded "shame on you" before and so he sent these guys lyrics he wrote back in the late sixties, they liked it and they put music to them, hence this song.
My favorite Modern 1966 style Garage Punk Band! Why oh Why can't today's kids listen to cool music like this?
Hemi Vic lol its 2020 and i am Listening to this and I am 14
Some of them do!
They do. Tons of kids but mainstream media shows otherwise. Lol Most teen bands are sounding like these bands
The intro to this song is just pure psychedelic heaven.
I never get tired listening to this absolutely incredible song! This record deserves a Grammy Award!
I’m playing it now - just freaking awesome!!!
These guys have earnt the right to say they were born in the wrong generation.
It's always a thrill to run into 21st-century pop music that truly *doesn't* suck! Great song....Rock'n'roll has hope for it!
Great band of today’s modern pop psychedelia revival. A real authentic tribute to the 60´s. Bravo. Î’m so mesmerized by this electrical Vox sound.

Great track, goddammit! Total authenticity!! :-)
Fantastic band ! :D
The Song remenber: The troggs, Ramones, The Seeds and outers. 🤘🇧🇷
The organ solo in the latter part is remenicent of the Doors at their best - if these guys had been around in the mid 60s they would have been massive
Never heard of this band , they sound great. Check out The Stems and The Hoodoo Gurus (early stuff).
what a surprise. This is truly amazing!
" It was the best of times, it was the... NO! It WAS the best of times! Even retro beats most produced since.

Almost a complete Garage package here, all included......cept a touch light, for some wild, wired-heads. Great vibe.
I grew up in the 60's listening to all the great music.....the satelliters would've fit right in. Man they sound great....like an oasis in the desert....they offer relief from all the modern crap out there! Gonna go out and buy their music.

gk10002000 Also, reverb/ room sound/ feedback/ tape speed effects... All that real stuff a computer can't replicate.

Contemporary rock in a total 60's garage rock way.
