In Australia we call this architecture style Federation style based on when Australia was founded.

Sometimes I like one of my small studies,but when I try a larger painting of the same scene,it turns out completely different and is never good enough.

What medium do you use?

Only a little spirits to draw the initial composition. I like Zest-It as its non-toxic. From there no mediums are used.

@user-kc7mu4jp4p Yes I mostly keep it loose to avoid getting into a tight painting. Occasionally I use a pencil but will go over that with a loose painted block in anyway.
