- This is it. 2020 was a crazy year, and it also produced some crazy decks. With ALL of the decks out there, which one wins out?? This was a hard list to make of course, so let me know how I did!

Thank you for the top 14. I really enjoy your in depth reviews of decks. I can go back to view again if I forget any details to tell people who are confused to why I started collecting them. With your help I can make them more interesting to them.

Amazing Top 10 Tim!! 💯 There's so many decks that came out that ranking them is difficult. But what you laid out, i can totally agree with you. 💯
Thanks, Frank! It’s a tough list to make for sure, but I’m happy with the list. It’s been a great year for cards and I think 2021 is lining up to be even better!
I don't know too many decks that came out this year, so this list helped! My favourite releases were the arrowdynamix decks by Kevin Ho
great list. culturae animalis is one of my all-time favs, and crypt is possibly my #1 release in 2020 as well (thanks for honoring the no-show agreement!) KWP of course, and I agree of those 2 selections (if you have to pick 2). I did not realize the cards of skotos were so lovely, will have to pick up! Hadn't seen the Witches deck before, but I think I prefer the similar Acelion deck? I have gilded versions of the Charmers and of Jody's decks and the gildings do take the designs up an even further notch. Haven't been able to score a luxury edition of meadowlarks, but I agree the yellow on the standard is beautifully executed! I also liked how the Enigmas, Vonnart, and Black Gold Lenormand KS project were realized. Thanks!
Skotos is definitely my “surprise” deck of the list. Thanks for your thoughts! I’ll have to check out Enigmas and Lenormand for myself!
Still need to pull the trigger on the Green Man deck. Great top 10! Now I have to look up that Crypt deck. Jackson Robinson definately has some of my top 10
Definitely go get a Green Man! Jocu is killing it on all their decks.
I was looking forward to this! Amazing line up indeed. Meadowlark, Green Man, TWI, and KWP has to be in everyone's top 10 :). Never heard of King Star and I'm glad I got to know about the artist.
It’s amazing how many great decks came out this year. Lots of production challenges, but really great stuff all over the place!

Nice list Tim! I agree that crypt, apocalisse, robinhood and meadowlark would be in my top 10, but not sure if the others would make my top 10 haha. But great to hear your view on it!
I respect your right to be wrong. 😂😉 But seriously, really interesting year. Lots of different directions to take a top 10 list really.

I could hardly wait for your top 10 deck review. You certainly did not disappoint TGC! Fantastic list. Thanks for putting in the honorable mentions too. I love the mystery behind the Crypt deck. Do you know how many were printed? I was happy to see I own 2 of the decks in your top ten and my sister owns 2 decks but different from mine. Keep up the great work. I thought your production quality on this review was very high.

Yes it was great top 10! I am still kicking myself that I didn't get the Legal Tender! I also LOVE the deck you had cut!!
Yep I really like the Legal Tender Holographic Version 2 on here. It really does feel like the apex of the many currency-inspired decks.
Interesting and great choices Tim. You got me thinking about my top choices. I'm going to have to go through my decks and post my tops on IG. I do know that some of your choices are definitely going to be on my list. Great top 10 (14) video 👍.

I haven't really thought about my top 10, but most on your list I am sure would make it on my top 10 as well. Certainly Crypt is my favorite as well. It was truly mind-blowing. Sovereign though would likely take second spot. Jody finally put in one that put his skill on full display in wonderful color. Of course Robin Hood and Beowulf would make the cut. Culturae Animali would definitely make my top 10 as well. I would not have put in Legal Tender v2 simply because it is essentially a reprint.
Yeah I almost left Legal Tender off for that reason, but it was different enough - and good enough - to stay. I can definitely buy in on Sovereign moving up the list though! It’s an outstanding design by Jody!

Some nice decks. Very intricate designs and some cool artwork... but sooooo much gold ! Bit too much for my style but interesting to see others taste.
Im honestly more about the artwork than the gold personally. Ironically, I think a couple of these could have been BETTER without the gold.

Nice list, Tim! Where would you rank the Arthurian Holy Grail deck?
That’s a tough one. I honestly could have made a list of decks with 5-6 KWP decks and Arthurian would have been there. I left it off in part because it’s a remake of an older deck rather than a full original design. But I could have made a case that it belongs in the list too!
@@TheCardGuyReviews when I saw that both the Beowulf and Robin Hood decks were on there, but the Arthurian deck wasn't, I figured that was the case.
Today, I placed an order for the Hope Edition of the Modern Idols deck. 🙂👍
I love your channel as you know but i don't usually buy beautiful artistic decks to collect unless they are really appropriate for magic. So, I am unable to put together a Top Ten list of the kind of cards that you admire and collect. With one exception. I have the Green Man deck and I think it's a spectacular deck in every way, I also would put the Tough Luck deck on my personal list because it is so strong thematically, perfect for magic, and quite beautifully designed in loving detail and with a sense of humor.
Definitely can take the list in a TOTALLY different direction and have a great list. I agree - Tough Luck is an outstanding - and functional - deck!
If you are looking for great decks for magic, I really recommend the Ravn series by Lorenzo and decks that The Gentleman Wake is putting out. The Butterfly decks are also beautiful and great for magic.
I’m definitely not a magician, but GW definitely does great work and I’m a big supporter. I used to be so-so on Ravn but I’m coming around!

The standard Apocalisse decks' tuck is nicer than the tuck of the gilded version.

I went out and ordered the meadowlarks after watching this. Don’t seem to be many around but they look so good. I ended up finding and getting the set of 3. Standard, Deluxe and Luxury.Wasn’t cheap but these cards don’t seem to be around much.
Great pickup! The Meadowlark decks definitely have the feel of a deck that's going to be a rarity in the future.
@@TheCardGuyReviews They certainly do. Even though I got this set I want a couple of the standard edition for me to actually use but in the UK there aren’t many. Around £25 each when you can find them for the standard!

Unfortunately it is sold out everywhere and was mostly sold in Asia. Keep an eye on secondary markets like eBay though! There were 3000 made, so I imagine it will be find-able!

I have paid more for decks than I care to admit sometimes. 😂😂 I really would love to do a collection vid sometime - although to be honest I have not figured out how best to film it!

Which ones in particular? A lot of them are likely sold out at this point, so eBay or a similar reseller market would be the easiest. But some of them may still be out there from the creator as well!
