    Hi. Good video, very informative.
    I have a 1023e and love it. I bought it use with 29 hrs on the 2019 model. It now has 156 hrs. I was very sick last year in the hospital for 110 days, so not putting many hours on the JD.
    Recently the rear hydraulics have been giving my problems. Start to lift then suddenly stop after 2”, sometimes 1” or 3” or a full lift. I changed the fluid, filter and magnet screen (just little metal) Seems to get more full lift more often.
    D120 loader works fine
    Rockshaft is fine.
    The rate of drop tee lever may have an effect, hard to find a pattern.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Davif

    Would this be perfect for plowing snow and yard work?

    • @OgleBilly
      @OgleBilly Před 2 lety +2

      Had a 2018 1023E and it was perfect for pushing snow. The first snow I pushed was 22” deep and I wasn’t on a lot of level ground either! Had the 54” belly mower and it did a great job!

      It all depends on the situation but in most cases, yes this is a great machine for those two things. Thanks for watching!

    Can you put a quick connect 3 point on that tractor

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  Před rokem

      Yes you can. It is called an iMatch quick hitch. There are other brands, but you just have to make sure you get one that will fit a Limited Category 1 hookup.

    Does this tractor have rear hydraulic remotes to run a small verge flail mower?

    Great machine!Maybe one day i will be moving to the states...and i will be buying a 1023E for sure! Do you know the price difference between the "old"120R and the '"new" 120E for the 1023E?Thanks!:)

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  Před rokem

      That's a tough one since the prices seem to always be changing. I will see if I can track that down.

    Is a 1025R worth the extra money over the 1023E?

    • @XingtheRubicon
      @XingtheRubicon Před 8 měsíci +1

      I would say so. Specially if you want a backhoe as they don’t offer it on the 1023e.

    • @pauldickson1495
      @pauldickson1495 Před 2 měsíci +2

      You can put a backhoe on the 1023e. Exact same frame and chassis as a 1025r

      My apologies. I completely missed this step in this video, but stay tuned as I am trying to do a comparison video of this and the 1025R. I will definitely be starting them both up in that video. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!

    Does JD offer a better warranty than Mahindra? Kubota?

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  Před rokem +2

      Mahindra and Kubota will boast a longer warranty most of the time but in my opinion and from what I have personally seen, the warranty process and the amount of parts that will actually be covered by warranty is much better from John Deere.

      Thanks for the quick reply. FYI, your whole paragraph is nothing more than a "run-on" sentence. Former English major, here. Lol

      You are correct. It is under the seat on the right hand side. Completely slipped my mind. Good catch and thanks for watching!

    On the draft control is it either up or down nothing in-between?

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  Před 2 lety

      You can raise it to different heights, you just won’t have a lock to set to find the exact same position if you were needing to raise and lower multiple times.
