Such a cool Captain 🫡
that Captain is awesome, love a guy with a personality
What a great captain, he really seems he enjoys his job!
Nice catch. The Dc-9. Ehm, the Md-80. Errr, Sorry, the Md-95. 🤔 no, the *Boeing* 717!!!
Always will be the MD-95 to me...
I flew on the 717 and the cabin crew had no idea it was the LAST McDonnell-Douglas.
To me in my mind they'll always be the MD-95. Be sad to see them go.
I've connected into/out of KATL a few times myself flying into Little Rock.. rough weather at times on both ends.... I've flown first class once on an Alaskan Airline flight from PHX-SEA on a 737.. after a long day the extra leg room was nice..
I ❤ Love night flights, and this one was no different 👍
Very nice aircraft
Really nice LED lighting !
Well, post-pandemic catering is still sub-par I see. Yes, I'm aware of the time of night and under rwo hours Flight Plan. I'm a retired airline pilot (not Delta though). Another major "friendly skies" company. But I remember First Class ten years ago being far better. Plastic cups??
Plastic cups are probably better for time saving and more logical especially for flights within the country
I think that first class/business class and economy plus coupled with status and miles have made planes more cramped in economy. I don't think too many people pay for first class or even lie flat business class seats. I think these seats are a way to get people to use miles or reward status people. if they just had a couple of rows of first and the rest economy they could add an inch or more of pitch in economy. I wouldn't have mileage plus or status. You pay if you want first or business. That would cause a shrinkage of first and business class.
What status gets auto upgrade to economy
WestJet has 31-33 pitch on their 737-700 along with 12 36 inch pitch premium class. No economy plus. It they got rid of 1 Premium row that should make the economy seats 32 inches of pitch if my calculation is right.
It's so not having to see people wearing masks anymore...
