- SINGAPORE HAWKER FOOD - MAYFLOWER MARKET AND FOOD CENTRE LUNCH
a little known hawker within the old estates of Ang Mo Kio.. probably only the local nearby residents would visit.. but it's still got some gems in it.. if you wish to fully experience it.. you should visit it early in the morning.. like 8 or 9am
Great channel. Good job. Thanks for sharing the beautiful videos.A new friend
Thanks you 😊 glad you enjoyed it
Hi~new friend here thank you very much for sharing god bless you and your family 🌈🌸🌺💐👨👨👦👦💐🌺🌸

Good Nite and sleep well buddy
Great super yummy Singapore chicken rice . I'm always have this when I'm vissit Singapore and duck rice very tasty 👍🎉
Chicken 🐔 🍚🌾 my favorite 😊👍🏼
Its quite nice that you have quite a number of videos that featured the various markets during the covid control. It serve as a good memory lane memories. Hope you can also revisit them all now that they are back to normal.
Thanks for watching.. I do revisit the hawkers. Singapore has 100 plus hawker centres. I’m starting to revisit them after a 3 year circling of our hawker centres 🤗
@ Piggypuggy.....hi bro, good start on a beautiful Sunday. Mayflower Market & Food Centre reminds me of the nearby Macca's and Gim Tin Restaurant. Held a couple of "retiring dinner" for office colleagues @ the latter.
From your footage, the dishes from the 3 Sisters Prawn Noodle Stall looks great so is, the Curry Rice and those Vietnamese rolls 😋
Rolex watch, thick gold chain n bracelet & bungalow etc are some of the common possession for successful Hawkers, these days 😆 Thanks for sharing this awesome video and take care, stay safe & healthy, bro 😎
Hahaha.. is there any place you’re unfamiliar with? You’re the true Singapore Tua Pek Gong! 😎 those are just random stalls I picked there. The popular one is the wanton Mee.. and I’m glad she chose to wear her Rolex.. better worn then to be kept at home. It’s something that gives them some gratification all day long 😁 work so hard.. just pamper themselves the only way they can.. can’t take holidays too 😅
@@Piggypuggy
Bro, thanks to my kind of work that took me to ALL parts of our little red dot including Pulau Ubin & Pulau Tekong 😆😆😆
Remember the Caldecott Queen from Lim Chu Kang? Visited her premises on many2 occassions and never realised she would become famous....otherwise, would've got her autograph 😆
Oh yes, do you remember the popular Hokkien Restaurant opposite the BB Headquarter at Zion Road? If not wrong, it's called "Green Bamboo" was wondering, if they're still in business after moving out from that location....great fried hokkien noodles and hae cheo 😋
Have a great Sunday Evening, bro 👌
Singapore Land Surveyor 😂 everyday KLKK.. Kia Lai Kia Ker.. must be a very interesting job. I don’t even know where her place at Lim Chu Kang is 😂 and you been there many times.. must be infestation 😆 oh! That bamboo restaurant! With the shop facade.. Below the blocks! There’s one zichar at the coffeeshop there in the 90s.. now shifted to serangoon gardens market. There was also the old Zion road hawker across the road where BB is 😂
@@Piggypuggy
Those visits was a monthly affair and my office was located at an Old School along LCK Road, a short distance away from the Market & Food Centre at Neo Tiew Road 😎
You're right for a Hawker Centre once existed near BB Headquarter and I remember a good Zhi Char stall....as well as a Roasted Meats Stall, both are very popular 😋 Yup the Restaurant was at the ground floor of the HDB Block. The Coffeeshop you mentioned has two good Stalls, too...Wanton Noodle & Zhi Char......
@@oneboonkeng1008 hahaha.. I remembered the Neo Tiew Housing estate market and food centre.. Wah! EONS ago 😂 Sarimbun Scout Camp ⛺️ is there. Back then night time Wah.. Genting weather man.. cold and foggy. Shiok ah!
ALWAYS PRESENT1
so delicious food 😋 new friend keep in touch 🔔
WOW! That must be a fun and exciting day tour at this beautiful May flower market.
The food looks so delicious.
Well done dear.Stay safe and blessed.
Yes, thank you
Thank you so much for filming this Mayflower market and food centre's ❤💕😍
Quaint little food centre.. I’d visit it again if I’m around that area
ur editing really rocks lah. Within the first 12 seconds I went like, "wow!!" 3x.... 😂 and i've never even heard of this place before! Mayflower..... nice name for a market! now i cant stop thinking of the hokkien mee!!!!
I also never set foot there before.. Wah.. Hokkien mee.. should be made a National dish
If I ever go to Singapore, I'm going to try out some of that hawker food. Looks so delicious.
Yeah.. everything's worth a try especially at these prices 😂 it's a cultural melting pot under one roof
The spring rolls look so well presented. Can rival any restaurant.
I should be a paid food photographer for the Hawkers 😂🤣
Awesome....I feel smelling all menu of Singapore Street Food. Oop...I'm hungry now.😍👍
The vietnamese food look nice and the chicken rice's chicken look more quite alot compare to some other places.. And yeah, and hopefully come and visit west side hawker... :)
as a chicken rice snob, i must say i am drooling over their chicken rice. yummy.
ahahaha.. chicken rice snob 😂 that's new to me..

Another new hawker center? Glad you can find all these interesting food centers to feature them, good for you Puggy.👍Even though several stalls are not open, yet the ones you feature are my favorites too. 👏 Amazing hawkers, make such delicious food, plus even a vegetarian stall, how can they sell it so cheap, $2 a meal? The hokkien mee is so well done, infused with the sauce and so moist! Very entertaining, thank you...😁
sometimes I go for the lesser known stalls.. the wanton Mee that had a crazy line.. so I thought the Vietnamese seems like an interesting stall. they only been operating for 1 year
Beautiful 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
😊
Thanks for make this video
Thanks for watching neighbors 🇮🇩
The 453 wanton mee & 自己来 minced meat noodles are my favorites there. 大姐mixed rice’s salmon fish is also nice but quite expensive.
Wow.. the line for the 453 was amazing.. plus it was so slow moving. Guess it must be sooo good that folks are willing to wait patiently for it
Wonton mee there very nice. Super long queue.
That why I didn’t queue.. it’s the longest queue there followed by the chicken rice
Woow nasi lemak ayam goreng sedap😋😋😁👍
Hello Harry 😁
@@Piggypuggy hallo kakak...hhe FB CHECK INBOX.
Wao.... Wear Rolex...
thanks for sharing 🙏🏼may I know how much is a lovely cup of takeaway kopi?
I think was probably $1.30 or 40. Super reasonable
吃飽了。👍
Sunday 周某好 😊
@@Piggypuggy こんにちは😃。
Hi five🖐️! I also like to add chicken Liver with my 🐔 🍚🥢😋
Swee 🙌
Try the chicken porridge. The ‘荣记‘. Had been there for 30 over years. Very traditionally cooked
Yah man.. I saw the ah Jek there cooking.. looks damn good. Said to myself I’ll have that next time
@@Piggypuggy Yes. Many years back then before he moved to this hawker centre he was at Old Sembawang there. Those days he also sell the Chinese style raw fish then. Very cantonese style. I had been eating his porridge since i was in my teenager years til i moved to thailand for abt 6 yrs ago. I am 49 this year
2:22 That's the coffee store i often visited!👍
Waahh.. I Tio 🏇🏿🏇🏼🏇🏾Pio Liao 🥳
Your video most of the place more at East side, can view like west or south side?
Will try going faaaarrr to wild wild west someday
whats the difference between the 3.50 and 4.00, 4.00 means more toppings? or just more noodles?
50cents usually means just more noodles.. unless it’s an old school stall where they don’t really care about profits 😅
chicken rice lady must be doing very well. she is wearing a rolex!
Haha.. knew everyone would see it.. it’s very nice on her 😊👍🏼
May be Fake?? They’re very good with fakes from HK.
@@rollynewong286 😂.. I’m not an expert but could very well be real as Hawkers don’t have chance to go on Holidays. If I’m a hawker.. I might pamper myself with one too 🤣
There's a saying 'all that glitters is not gold'!!! But on the other hand, well deserved for extremely hard work daily, standing long hours, no holidays. If it's me, it'!! Be a diamond studded face too!!!
欢迎你来到我的地盘!🎉🎊👏👏👏👏👏👯👯👯👯👯
Wah! Tua Pek Gong is in the house 🥳😎✌🏼
@@Piggypuggy you want 4️⃣D number!?😁

Hi 👋
Luckily I have just finished my lunch!😆😅😂
I just woke up niaaa.. nuaaa
Right I'm off to order Vietnamese and a combination chow mein (chicken rice tomorrow)
😁🤭
What is the difference between fried viet spring rolls and the Chinese vegetarian ones?
One is fried and one isn’t? 😂 but both are yummy 😋 can’t tell them apart
@@Piggypuggy m referring to the fried ones, same as those Chinese vegetarian stalls fried ones?
They seem exactly the same leh.. I didn’t see them fry it. So I can’t be sure if it’s using the rice paper instead of normal spring roll wrap. All I know was that wow.. super crunchy on the outside 😋
Vietnamese Fried spring roll ingredient is abit different.. should try.. the rice paper spring roll is totally different from what Chinese uses.. we use rice water to make rice paper and is very tiny so it looks like transparent. Very healthy. Vietnamese food especially those who like more veggies. We eat raw veggies and preserve veggies. Meat we eat pork, beef, chicken. But still the best is Vietnamese bread(bánh mì) and the beef noodle soup(phở bò) or chicken noodle soup(phở gà)
Yi~~Ha!!🐎
This meals you ate a lot of🦐, that night you got pong💥pong💥pong💥or not?😆😄😁
I just heh heh heh.. allll the waayy home 🏡
I want 🦐 Prawn Mee no 🦐 please
😂🤣😅
12:02 Those rolls are 1/3 the price of US
4 for USD$2.82
No tips required
@@Piggypuggy Here we pay about $6.5 for 2
$22 for a whole chicken is over the top. If you get all the condiments with it, that is reasonable.
Hi everyone, hao ma?
