I hope they come back into fashion in Maharashtra....Ladies please dedicate one of your wedding day to the 9 yard sari in Maharashtra...Same goes for all ladies in every state, dedicate one of you wedding days, to your state handicraft sari. We have to keep our traditional state sari styles alive.
@Amandeep Wahi Totally I agree...I think Indian women should get credit for keeping a lot our traditional clothing styles alive. But men are coming around. Before it was hard to find men wearing kurtas...now more men wear kurtas as a daily wear. While today we can't expect men to wear dhoti on a daily basis...but on special occasions, certain ceremonies it should be encouraged. It will help pass this skill of wearing Dhoti to the younger generation.

Brilliant performance girls! The dance is too difficult for a Non Indian but u all did a superb job. Pretty sure it was a laborous task but worth the effort. Kudos to the choreographer also for the song selection. One of my fav songs from the movie Natrang
