I was struggling with infertility for many years and when I listened to this song the first time my spirit and soul was completely rocked. I released my struggles, worries, anxieties of never becoming a Mom and I can testify God did the miracle. I now have a beautiful 2 year old girl and pregnant with my second child! Lord please lead me to a 2nd volunteer job opportunity. I'm scarred from a divorce, finally by God's grace I'm off my antidepressant, and still heal daily from a few of life's trauma like things. He is looking for true worshippers and those who are obedient to Him. I already know how some even in the Acts 2:38 faith can be modern day Pharasees or legalistic Apostolics and that is NOT what Jesus called for as this is yet another veil! I first heard this song while my mom had been in the hospital for about 3 1/2 months. It broke me. So much back and forth with her health and it was just so much weight to carry, besides being a wife and SAHM. This song gave me peace and allowed me to accept whether the Lord healed my mother physically or spiritually. On July 5, 2019 after being hospitalized for almost 4 months, my 55 year old mother went to be with the Lord so peacefully. She was saved and that gave me joy! Waiting- I don’t know about you, but I become furious when I must wait. It’s at this time I realize just how low my patience level is. As a child of God, it sometimes becomes even more frustrating when I must wait for something I have been praying for because God the Father has tremendous patience and it’s a characteristic He wants develop in me. Waiting can be my friend, or it can be my foe, it can be positive or negative, it can be joyous, or it can be full of sorrow; ultimately the choice is mine.
This song has opened a doorway for me to learn that to wait on God and trust Him in the process can feel impossible. Waiting wears down my patience, but God always uses those seasons to refine me and deepen my intimacy with Him.
Hello! I am Tracy, Rob's wife. I just want to say that I find it verrry hard to wait, too. I hate it, but I found that when I hurry things, I mess up and I mess up what God was doing by not being open to His ENTIRE plan. When I see that I am getting to impatient, the Lord gently reminds me of the story of Abraham and Sarah...how she became impatient and gave her handmaid to Abraham and they had a son, which caused jealousy in Sarah's heart. I try not to be impatient, but it always works out in the end and I am stronger for it and in a deeper relationship with the Lord, not tying His hands so He can do whatever He wishes. I don't want to miss out on anything of God's for anything. I want all He has to offer me, doing so prayerfully-not in a greedy way though. I always pray, "Lord, help me to accomplish and learn everything I need to in each and every level you take me." Oops! Didn't mean for this to be this long...sorry. :) God bless, Brother Meja!!!
