These are hands down the best design I’ve seen on CZcams for fold down bunks. If you don’t have time to make them for sale You should patent these and license them out. Outstanding work
Thanks.. I wish I had time
I’d buy one for shre
YeH these are unreal. Make it happen big money for motocross vans
I agree with everyone else, you could make proper money with this design. Great work OP.
Awesome Video, thank you! Murphy beds in a trailer, Great idea!
Excellent bed set-up....best design I've seen on the internet.....you might consider making and selling kits for both size beds, I'd buy one!
Thanks. If I had the time I would. Working full time, being a husband and dad... takes it all....lol. if I was a full time youtube guy then I would be set.
Yea i would love to buy 2 sets bunkbed off from you! One for me on the bottom, one for my wife on the bottom and 2 of my boys up top! When m camping i dont want to b CUDDLE!!!!!! Too busy to CAMP 🤪😜
I would happily buy this set up from you already premade lol
I would love it if there were at least drawings of these! Great work creating these beds!
Definitely man if you looking to sell a few sets I’ll buy 3 of the full size beds from you
When I first saw these bed designs I thought it was going to be complicated and hard to follow your instructions but I have to say your video is very concise, thoroughly explained and demonstrated. Thank you for such a professional presentation, your hard work is appreciated.
Thanks..... I'm just a normal guy trying to help others out if I can!
@@watsonst04 100% best bed design for a expedite cargo van love the bunk bed design those foot support can withstand alot of weight I saw one similar to yours but it didn't have the heavy duty foot support, just one more thing the single bed design seems a bit low don't you think other than that it's perfect great build love it
@@nomadexpress , did you notice how close to the ceiling it was when folded away? To get it higher when deployed would require a more complicated system where it pivots out and up as it deploys. Take a look at the Sun-lite 21TH or Sun-Lite 24TH to see how their murphy bed deploys.
Man! Fantastic ideas and execution! Thank you for putting this out there for everyone to see. I think I'm going to try to replicate this in my trailer.
Thanks! Good luck and if you have questions just let me know.
Great Job! I've been through a thousand builds and this bed set up is by far the best I've seen.
Thanks.... I did the same and just couldn't find anything I wanted. Custom built was the only way I could really get what I wanted.
Excellent design. One thing that would make putting the frame onto the hinges easier. Offset one of the posts so you can get one barrel started, just an 8th of an inch or so and then you can line up the other one and slide the whole thing on.
you could easily create a company selling this product. This is an excellent job - great welding work
Thanks!! I've had several reach out to me about them. Just hard to make a business now days as everyone is looking for hand out and ready for a easy lawsuit.
@Mikeslocation
The big boys are taking notes to present it to the public as their own creation. Don’t worry, you will be seeing it mass produced on the market for sale very soon!!!
@@watsonst04 You should act on it brother, cause someone could actually get it right, and have a company make them for them and they could be making money off your design. I bet you could replace your 9-5 selling these kits!
You have the best bed setup. Thanks been trying to figure out and find a good bed. You made a great one! Love that you kept it simple!
Thanks!
This is a great design thank you for showing us how to do it looks super sturdy and not overcomplicated
Thanks. Yea making it out of square tubing makes it ridiculous strong... maybe too strong...lol. you may could do it outta aluminum...idk. mine are not light at all..
Brilliant and so well explained, I needed a fold up bed in the nose of my horse float and everyone has said its not possible. I tried to explain my idea which was very similar to this and no one understood. Now I can show them, just need to learn to weld and no more putting up camp beds after a 10hr drive
It's possible as one design I had the bed on the V nose part.
That is amazing! The way you did that just works so well! Thank you so much! I was thinking about bed placement and I didn't want a Murphy bed. With this DIY set up and the construction it opens up my mind. Thank you so much!!
Thanks.... this is exactly why I started a channel, so I could help other people if I could!
Making this video saved fella a whole lotta time trying to figure out how to make folding bunk beds👍🏽
Best video I've seen on DIY trailer beds for a toy hauler. Will work perfectly for elk camp once you pull the side by side out of the trailer.
My utility trailer has a similar hinge setup, and it was impossible to reattach the gate by myself UNTIL... I shortened one pin by half an inch. Now I can get the long pin side started, and then still have a small gap to get the second hinge inserted. FAR easier!!!
I ended up doing that shortly after I made the video... it was a pain before!! I have never taken the bed off again though...lol.
Nice suggestion
GENIUS idea about the cattle fencing for the criss cross support!!!!! Actually all of it is genius! Well presented!!
Thank you, that is what I needed to have a folding bed. I only need a single bed, so I want it close to the floor then build a shelf over the top that will be higher then regular counter top, but can still be very useful.
Your Welcome!!
That is a great system my friend. You take pride in your work because it looks better than any system I have ever seen before. Keep up the awesome work and content for your channel. I hope you and your family stay happy and healthy. Good luck.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes I put a lot of time just sitting there drawing everything up, before I even bought materials. I'm also a little OCD and can't stand going crappy/thrown together work..... drives me nuts!!!
@@watsonst04 I'm the same with carpentry. It makes people who don't have patience go crazy waiting. When I am done my project they understand why I am such a perfectionist. Great work, OCD stands for "quality made products".
Your ingenuity is mind blowing! Great job and keep up the great work!
This is such a user friendly video. Thank you so so much! I’m so excited to be able to build my own one day and feel so confident in being able to follow your design. Great job!
You can do it!
I like it! I’m not a welder, but I’m sure I can find someone near by. I’d need to make my bed fold out horizontally since I only have a 6’ ceiling but hey, that fine too, I’ve been looking at the “wood” kits, but I know that’s gonna be a lot more weight using lumber. Again, that’s for your detailed description AND sharing with all of us.
Thanks, well you can just make it like the bunk beds just adjust the legs and locking points different. I not sure with the weight difference, but I wouldn't trust a wood frame as much.
Wow that's an amazing setup you designed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks.... there was alot of "head scratching" to figure it out...lol.
Thank you for making this video, amazing job with the camper beds!!
Wow, a lot of work and looks fantastic!
Amazing bed setup. Looks better than anything you could buy you definitely have great talent and ideas.
Glad you like it!
Great job on building the beds and showing how you built them
Thanks... hopefully it helped some people out there
Good ideas all over the place. I had to download the whole video just in case I couldn't fine it again. Well done!!
Thanks! If you have any question I'll try to help.
Nice work. Clean and not too heavy. I may add a vinyl cover that rolls up to the ceiling. It’s dusty where I plan to go. This design checks all the boxes for me. 👊🏼
Thanks, glad I could help!
Check out this video on keeping the dust out: "RV Life Hack - Keeping the Dust Out Of Your Camp Trailer". Hope this helps.
@@bornonthebayou7926 thanks for the info!
FREAKIN AWESOME!!! This is exactly what I will be needing for my trailer! Great job!!
Glad I could help!
Awesome job. I’m glad I ran across your video. That’s exactly what I’m wanting to do with mine.
Thanks.... glad I could help
I like how usable the space is. I was thinking of building Murphy bed and the same idea for a couch.
Great design! you explained it very, very well! Thank you.
Damn dude. What a fantastic design. Well done and thank you for sharing!🙌
Brilliant design.
Best solution I've seen so far, nicely done and well explained! Thanks a lot.
Thanks.... glad I could help
This is an awesome design. I so need these for my kids
What a great idea!
Thanks for making an detailed video on your beds! I watched your other video on your camper too.
Thanks for watching and I hope it help you in some way. I know a lot of people wanted the video!!
Very solid build! I like how its removable too!
Thanks, one trailer can do it all. At least that was my plan for it!
Man thank you so much for sharing this, it really open my eyes to new ideas, it looks awesome!!
Glad to help!
It's been said by others, but best design out there. Thanks.
Extremely creative space saving solution!!! Thanks for sharing!
Your Welcome!!
Your fab work and mental ability to make it happen is impressive. Good job man
Thanks!
Beautiful work thanks for sharing. I'll be using the twin bed version 🙏😎☮️
Just glad I could help!!
Hey, just want to thank you for your bunk bed design, glad to say you have created a second great one in my trailer, Excellent!
I also built one in my cargo trailer, very similar. I welded Aluminum material to build mine, Very light and strong
Yes, I put my flavor on it but give you 100% credit, for the idea design. I wish I could share it with you and the world but I'm not very good at posting stuff on CZcams.
Thank you again your a Bad Ass!
Just glad I could help!! I'm just a normal guy.... no bad ass here!! LOL!!
Yes ! I got the answer to my question I was looking for !!! Thanks really good Job 👍🏻
Thanks, glad I could help!
Love the bunks! Thanks for sharing
Thanks.. my kids love them!!!
Awesome build!
Very professional, nice design, you also did a nice job finishing them - cleaning up the welds, paint etc. Appears you have some nice animal "helpers". Thanks for showing us this .
Thanks, yes I have a little OCD on certain things... I tried to make it as nice as I could.
Thank you. I have been looking for something like this for ever.
It's pretty easy as long as you have the tools.
Beautiful work!!!!!!!! best set up I've seen!!
Awesome build, very well done, sir! I noticed some squeaking on the bunk bed when you raised it up, a nylon bushing in-between the legs, and the frame may help with that and preserve that nice paint job. Thanks for posting!
Amazing! Best design ever!
Thanks - gives me some good ideas. Looks heavy though. I think some of it could be lumber too.
2x3 with hinges and a cable at each end
Thanks for the great video. Excellent design and explanation.
Thanks!
This is a really good tutorial & I think that you've come up with really clever ideas.
Another way to make figuring out where to place holes on long legs easier would be after you've measured from the edge, to drop a plumb line to try the angle & verify the hole placement.
Thanks... I'll try that on my next build.
Plumb line in a trailer? I would think a square would work better unless you know you have the trailer perfectly level front to back and side to side.
Great design!
Awesome job👍
Thing strapped to the Thing. Good job Mister. I like it.
Solid and clean. Nice set-up.
Thanks!
Great video and awesome job as well. Thanks for sharing
Thanks.... hopefully it helped someone!
Awesome job. Just stumbled across this after looking to do this in our trailer. Thanks for the upload.
Glad you liked it. Good luck with your trailer
Nice job man
You are very skilled, great job.
wonderful engineering
Good job well done
Very well done project... thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Your videos just help me convince my wife to do this! Thank you!!!!!
Convincing the wife can be the hardest part!! LOL!!
This is so awesome!
This vid gives me an idea to make a fold down bed /couch that mounts under a bunk bed in a 6x10 cargo trailer.
Was looking for a way to add bunk beds to my camper this videos just solved my problem thanks looks great !!
Thanks. Glad I could help!
Thanks for the video. This is very informative and a gives me a great idea of how to adapt this to my trailer. I have a 6ft tall 12ft long trailer (yes its small but it works, I would love to upgrade to a larger trailer but budget/truck don't allow it lol) but we use very comfy couch cushions for beds and have been looking for ideas to make some bunk beds. Right now my trailer is a basic build to be functional (lost private area with house we used to hunt out of due to toxic group member that is no longer in the group). I will def be using this information to improve my trailer.
I have not looked at your other videos yet but do you have one for storage solutions? We have 3-4 people camping with us and can use ALL the storage we can get
Best design I've seen, Thank you for sharing
Glad you like it!
awesome design!
Thanks!
Nice. Great job.
Thanks
Nice job man! I was gonna do mine out of wood but love the clean look of that! So may have to go your way! lol
Sweet, great fab job! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks!
Thanks for this, awesome plan! That spacing bracket to fold the bed against the wall is exactly the plan I needed! 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻 Nice beard btw😉
Yep.. glad I could help!! Thanks... it gets a little crazy from time to time though....lol!!
Looks nice and a great idea thanks for sharing
Thanks!
that's a good slick system you did there....
Nicely done.
Thanks!
Awesome set-up/Design

Have fun! If you have any questions let me know!!
Awesome job Mate, well done. A bit of work saves all the heart ache setting up when you hit your destination.👍
Thanks
Awesome video!!!
Thanks!
Great idea and exicution. Nice job in presentation as well
Thanks for watching
Good job 👏👍
Great video my friend, that is really going to help with my build. I think instead of horse panel, I am going to use webbing to cut down a little on weight.
Thanks! Yea I almost drilled the entire border with holes and do a tight hammock style, but was at Tractor supply one day and see them and though it would be easier.
Looks AWESOME
Thanks!
Wow you amazing!! Thank you fer sharing this content with us 😊
Awesome very nice, great information
Love it
