Excellent review! And great playing, too. Thanks for posting!
Thank you kindly!
he sells the ergonomic pinky rests alone i believe!
Let’s see the dog! 😃
The lead pipe and bell numbers are on the underside of the valve bracing.
Thanks!
Sounds nice.
Thanks for the review. For the record, this is a bell measuring right in the middle of our 20+ bell offerings. The #7 bell is 6 sizes smaller than our largest bell. Also, these are not heavy finger rings, but the lightest option. Most clients choose the Ergonomic finger rings. The VGR is the MOST IMPORTANT adjustment on any Harrelson Trumpet. You skipped over the entire philosophy behind the Venturi Gap Receiver, which gives the player the ability to adjust flexibility, slotting, air flow, and impedance in seconds. You can make any VGR equipped instrument play and feel almost like any other instrument ever made. The high F you played would be easier after experimenting with the VGR inserts. The standard VPS Summit without upgraded bell crook or tuning slide weighs in at around 2 pounds 8 ounces, which is just a few ounces over most vintage Bach trumpets. Being caught up on the weight is where you may have a serious blind spot. Weight has nothing to do with response, which is a common myth proven to be incorrect by numerous scientists in reproduced experiments. You may want to visit my CZcams channel to learn about the trumpet you are selling as you left out most of the major innovations that would be of interest to your customers. 🎺
Thanks
Interesting clarification. I think the guy needed that coffee and maybe a complete breakfast. He looks like a cool guy but his tone (and I am not talking about the sound of the trumpet), was not good at all as to a trumpet seller. The trumpet will find an owner by itself. Let me say it this way.... he sounded like a car salesman selling a used Toyota..... that trumpet is like a Lexus.
@@AbogadodelaVerdad I believe he has a blind spot in his thinking or a severe bias related to the anti-science trumpet crowd.
@@harrelsontrumpets thanks for your feedback. Harrelson Trumpets have a lot of fans.
Nice review! Those do look line Carolbrass valves.
Yes they do.
At the end of the video you said it was the favorite of some of the players you had to test it. I'm curious to know what other trumpets were tested. Thanks
Check out the SPECTRA TONE HARRELSON MOUTHPIECE
I wonder if they ever sold that horn
I bought it.
@@harrelsontrumpets oh, wow
@@harrelsontrumpets you bought back your own trumpet? 😮😀
much ado about nothing... no serious trumpet player plays these Harrelson horns , now I know why...
Arturo Sandoval used to
Over a thousand pro players disagree with your statement 👍
@harrelsontrumpets Why are your horns not well known outside the trumpet community? Harrelson horns have been around for perhaps 20 years. But yet we have not all caught up to them.
@da11king we've been featured on PBS, in the ITG Journal, Audi magazine, several machining and manufacturing trade magazines, and hundreds of newspapers around the world. There's too much noise today for everyone to notice.
@@da11kingyou read my mind. There are excellent independent trumpet designers like Schagerl, Lotus Group, Martin Bhome and others. Harrelson is among them to say the least.
