  • [Link in description] Available now at ACB! The Hard-to-Come-By Harrelson Summit Trumpet!
As you know we're always on the lookout for rare horns to offer our customers. Due to high demand and their intensive manufacturing process (including precision machining and laser-welded seams), custom orders on new Harrelson trumpets can take several years to come to fruition. At ACB, you can just buy this pre-owned Harrelson today! And as a bonus, you get to see the exact horn you're purchasing before you pay.
    Variable Gap Receiver System
This trumpet comes with two full sets of VGR (variable gap receiver) inserts so you can dial in the resistance and flexibility you prefer. That's variable throats, 2 bodies, 2 different venturi options, and several gap length options. The sets are .342 and .346.
    Modular Mouthpiece System
It also comes with two Harrelson 5MM (five-piece modular mouthpiece) mouthpieces. You can play them as-is, or acquire more 5MM system components to customize a mouthpiece to your exact preferences. The mouthpieces are in the Bach 5 ballpark, although the backbores are a little more open and the rims feel a little sharper. A 5MM system storage case in included so you can keep your collection organized.
    Protected by Acoustic Armor
The horn is encased in satin gold Acoustic Armor for a very durable finish, with black trim. There are a few minor imperfections in the application of the Acoustic Armor, but the finish itself is in good condition.
    Trumpet Specs:
The trumpet has a 1 bell (think Bach 37) and a 6 leadpipe (think Yamaha Bobby Shew 8310Z). The bell has a slight upward tilt of 6 degrees.
    Gard Bag Included
A Gard leather double trumpet bag is included (we love these bags!), as is a Harrelson mouthpiece case and Harrelson valve guard.
This trumpet has sold but we have LOTS more great options here: www.austincust...
    Important Special Information:
This instrument is not available for in-home trials, shop trials only by appointment. Sale is final. Shipping cost will be more than our usual shipping charge due to the weight of the instrument and will include insurance.

Really cool and unusual horn. Looks to me like a crossing between a yellow Ferrari 🏎 and a Monette🎺 ...🤭 . Thx for showing!

Sounds wonderful, but looks all the world to me like my old Tromba plastic horn. Maybe its the black buttons and caps.

Recently purchased a Hawkes Cornet on FB market place, the address of 33 Soho Square , London, dates it between 1862-1875! It still looks and plays well!

Is this horn worth the $11,000 dollars and for the amount of time you wait?

Regardless how it looks, this horn sounds funny. It's not the player, that's for sure.

No disrespect to Mr Harrelson who is a fine man and a great trumpet builder but this horn doesn’t do it for me I’d rather have a Adams A2😀

@@harrelsontrumpets I think the video and sound quality are fantastic and Mr. Austin plays the fire out of the trumpet. Much better playing than yours Mr. Carrelson.

This horn doesn't sound good to me, it looks cool but the sound is dull, nasal and there are some notes that are off tune. And for the price of the horn those are some serious problems.
