  • Nerve pain after knee replacement surgery can often improve if you begin the right treatment.
Most doctors will focus on treating the nerve pain with medications, even injections.
Often they'll tell you that the x-rays of your knee look normal and that nothing is wrong with the knee replacement.
But that leaves patients feeling hopeless and if the pain is severe, even regretful at having the surgery.
In this video, Dr. David details 3 ways to help nerve pain after knee replacement surgery.

I am 7'weeks post op anterior hip replacement. I suffered through 3 weeks of swelling and bruising from my thigh to my toes and struggling with nerve pain in my knee, calf, ankles and top of my foot. It is slowly subsiding, but have endured horrible throbbing, burning pain. I think it triggered my sciatic nerve also. My leg length was corrected and my knee is now straight, where it used to he turned outward. I hope this correct itself when everything adjusts. I'm pretty much on my own, as my surgeon and PT say it will take time. Any suggestions?

9 months after bilateral full knee replacements and my nerve pain is as bad as when I had the surgery. I am working on my glutes and quads but the nerve pain is not resolving.

@@epmanualphysicaltherapy thanks for the link. I tried the neck and towel exercise without the towel and it helped immensely. The shrug caused more tingling. I think I need to get a different pillow. Thanks 🙏🏾

You gotta do a vid on proper weight training after you've strengthened your lower abs!! Or atleast show how to hold your body properly throughout a workout!
