People from Thessaloniki often use με instead of μου, which may lead to hilarious situations. Once a lady in the bus wanted the driver to open the back door for her, so she said: "Άνοιξέ με από πίσω." Everybody laughed, because the way she said it literally meant: "Open me from behind". 😄
hahaha! We are from Thessaloniki and we say this☺
Im learning Greek just 4 months, alone.Im happy to say I understand already a lot.Even it looks very difficult at the beginning.

Good
3:29 the subtitles say us but it's supposed to be me
Thx for the excellent lesson. I could follow along with most of that.🤓 I had noticed it happening in some of the sentences I was practicing and figured there was probably a good reason for it. xD
It will take some time to wrap my mind about how to apply that consistently in person on my own though.
μπράβο👏💗

Σ' ευχαριστώ, αγαπημένε μου Daniel❤
I am new to your channel and not sure if this has been asked before but is it possible to have both the Greek and English transcript of your lesson appearing with your video without having to go to Settings and choose one or the other language?? Another CZcams Greek learning channel called "Crazy for Greek" does exactly what I am asking of you. thank you and I really enjoy and appreciate your videos especially when you are out and about.
γεια σου Chris, καλώς ήρθες!Every teacher has their own method, and that doesn't necessarily fit mine. My approach focuses on training your ear in the Greek language rather than just reading subtitles in two languages. Additionally, since many students may not speak English, I hope you appreciate what is being offered here. Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ ☺

Bravo
ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ☺
My Greek grandmother used another word for "it stinks." It was something like "μουσκουβουλαει." Is that right? (Just tried it on a translating site. It says it means "soaks." That's certainly not how she used it.)
Μοσχοβολάει means that it smells very nice🌹🌹
@@DoYouSpeakGreek Wow! That surprises me! She would say "Pew! Μοσχοβολάει!" Could it be that there are local variations in usage? (She was from a small town called Ευηνοχώρι, near Μεσολόγγι.) (Or maybe she was trying to be funny.) I tried Μοσχοβολάει on the same translation site and it just says, "smells."
Γεια σου Αλεξάνδρα μου. Ευχαριστώ για το βίντεο. Γρήγορη ερώτηση...Γιατί χρησιμοποιείς 'μου χρειάζεται' και όχι 'χρειάζομαι';
γεια σου, Σάρα μου, είναι μία έκφραση , μάλλον για να δώσουμε έμφαση😀
ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ γι'αυτό, μπορεί να είναι λίγο προβληματικό και περίπλοκο στην καθημερινή ομιλία κάπου κάπου.
Να είσαι καλά, αγαπημένη μου! Σημασία έχει να μιλάς τη γλώσσα! Τα μικρά λαθάκια είναι ασήμαντα🤩🤩
