Not every song gets better with stronger vocal presence or power. It takes away from the subtleness from the original.
Actually I felt the complete opposite. The refrain is too weak compared to the rest of the song that has been "overstyled". She is just trying too hard and can´t actually back it up. At least that´s what it looks like to me.

Here is some math (making a lot of assumptions, so bear with me).
The power level of a human in the games (legacy of goku 2, I think) is said to be 4 or 5. We'll call this unit "p". Assuming this represents the possible energy output of a normal, untrained human, we can do some calculations. A regular human burns about 2000 Calories a day. 2000 Calories = 2,000,000 calories (as a Calorie is actually a kilocalorie). 2,000,000 calories per 24 hours = 83,333.3. A watt = 959.845 calories per hour, so a human generates about 96.9 W. Canonically, humans don't have access to this power unless they undergo intense training, and it's likely that even if they could access it, they couldn't use it, as this is the baseline to keep their body functioning. Anyway, this gives us a basic conversion for W into p (power level). We said a human has a p of 4 or 5. 96.9 is 20 times larger than 4.846, so let's just use that as a our value between 4 and 5. That would mean that 1 p = 20 W. We need to figure out the number of watts in 9000 dB. We do this by first establishing the sound pressure and defining our area of effect, which will be 1 m^2 for simplicity. For the sound pressure, we need a reference pressure and dB. We'll use the reference of 0 dB = 20 microPascals. The equation for sound pressure level is 20 log (pressure / ref. pressure) dB. We have our 9000 dB sound, so our equation is 9000 = 20 log(pressure / ref. pressure). which is 450 = log(pressure/ ref. pressure). Thus, 10 ^ 450 = pressure / ref. pressure. Our ref. pressure was 20 microPascals, which is 10^-3.699 pascals, so when we multiply both sides, we end up with pressure = 10^446.3 pascals. This is already far, far, FAR too much pressure. An ungodly amount of pressure. But let's continue. Unfortunately, we are now going to square the pressure, as our equation is Power = (Ap^2/pc)cos(theta). We're assuming theta = 0 and pc = 411.6 (kg)(m^-2)(s^-1), which is the reference supplied on wikipedia. Plugging in our pressure level, we get 10 ^ 446.3 * 2 = 10^892.6 / 411.6. 411.6 = 10^2.61, so we'll subtract that out. That gives us our Power level of 10^889.99 W. Converting to our established value of 1 p = 20 W, (10^1.3) we have an in-universe power level of 10^888.7. That is a 1 followers by 888 zeros. When goku first went super saiyan, his power level was something like 1 or 2 million. That's a 1 followed by 6 zeroes. This is a 1 with 888 zeroes. It's too much. Way too much. The total mass of the observable universe is 1.5 * 10^53 kg. If you converted that all into energy using E = mc^2, you get 1.348 * 10^70 J. A watt = 1 J / s, so our energy of 10^890 W is equivalent to the total energy of everything in the universe being consumed 10^820 times a second.
