    Was anyone disturbed that the producers felt the need to "pep up" the interview with perky, fast-paced background music? That was not only distracting but also direspectful.

    I'm glad she's spreading awareness about skin conditions. I've never knew that celebrities had skin conditions like this and it would have been nice to know that I wasnt the only one out there who was suffering when growing up. (I have severe atopic dermatitis). If someone spoke out sooner, I probably would have had a better outlook on life and not be secluded like I am now.

    Ahhh, the looks I get when I pay for something at a cash register and I'm wearing a short sleeve tee shirt. I don't even know what they're thinking, and I'm afraid to ask. I just pick my stuff up and leave in a hurry, with no conversation and head-down in shame. Very debilitating.

      You always have keep holding your head up and stare right in their eyes and simply say : “don’t be afraid it’s just psoriasis and it’s not contagious “, with a big fat smile on your face and even a wink, because there is nothing to be ashamed of, NOTHING, EVER👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻😄😄😄 BE PROUD AND HAPPY AND GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE WITHOUT PAYING ATTENTION TO THOSE IN IGNORANCE

    I wish she would let her hair go natural. It could be those dyes that caused the Psoriasis. She said it started on her head. That is a clue to stop the hair dyeing. I have occasionally seen her with white hair and she looks great! Her health is more important that the color of her hair.

      My God, Gracie, I am so sorry. I'm 47 and started getting it about three years ago. It's a terrible disease that has caused me major problems and I'm probably 2/3rds done with life because I have heart disease and diabetes too and am overweight. It is SO unfair for a beautiful 13 year old girl to have this condition too. I wish you all the best in your fight with this disease. It has literally ruined my life so quickly.

    I’m fortunate I only get it on my scalp and quite badly on my right elbow. My grandfather had it all over and was in horrible pain because of it.
    I’ve had mine since birth and i believe it’s a permanent fixture. I need to treat it every day and it will go away, but it comes back within 48hrs if I don’t treat it. It’s real pain in the arse cause I just don’t remember to treat every single day, or I’mbusy.
    But miss one day and that’s it, goes nuts

      why? That company has the financials to bring awareness then an org to the masses by commercials. Most people still are not comprehending how what Psorasis is or how its not a contagious epidemic so all for a celebrity showing a venerability to help others even if its big pharm.

    • @zarahaltom8967
      @zarahaltom8967 Před 6 lety +2

      Arthur Cabral, wow! You just showed your ignorance. You should have to deal with the itching, the burning a person endures from just taking a shower who has psorasis, just for one day.
      You should have to look at yourself with psorasis patches on your body. You should have to endure the itching that a person endures from just clothes touching the areas. You should apologize for the remarks you made for the rest of your life. It's not from hair dye. It can be on the scalp but she discusses how its all over her body. Did you even listen? I have psorasis. I have suffered from the emotional scars left from people like you. I have worn long sleeves and long pants during the heat of summer while you were able to wear summer attire. You should have to suffer one day. Only one. However, during that 24 hour period, you should think it's for the rest of your life. You should feel the embarrassment when someone, who doesn't know what you have and wonders if you're contagious, looks at you with fear and disgust in their eyes.
      You are a jerk. You should be ashamed. There is hope for jerks like you, unlike the no hope psorasis sufferers had until recently.
