Morgan! I have watched your videos from Nebraska for the last few years. They bring me so much relaxing comfort and joy. A few months ago we made the exciting move to Olympia, WA. I was listening to a psychologist. He said, as you mature you get back to enjoying things you did in your childhood again. Which makes sense. I think maturity is loving yourself and being "ok" with what makes you "you". Not living for what "people" may think of you. I am at a place to where I am unapologetically myself and happy with that.

Would you ever consider doing a painting video? I would love to see your process because I love your videos and illustrations and that would just be so wonderful! Les Mis is the best book i’ve ever read, if you love the musical you get SO much more info about the characters. Hugo’s writing is so topical, so political, so funny, it could’ve been written a year ago. def reccomend the audio book just to help you get through it! but i can assure you you will not want to put it down
I have been to the musical of les miserables in the Netherlands. It was so, so amazing! I took my husband with me who doesn't really like musicals and even he's in awe. After seeing the musical I wanted to own the book but not the musical version and it was so hard to find. I eventually found a guy at a farmers market who had a copy. But he constantly forgot to take it with him. After a few weeks he brought them. He told me he was very sorry because it was a very old copy. But I fell in love, it was a beautiful old yellowed version of the book. I personally feel that these books are the best, also because they smell the best 🤭. I wish you an amazing time at the show!

Les Miserables is truly a wonderful book, so much better than the theatrical production in my opinion.

The one book I would recommend reading an abridged edition of is Les Mis. Victor Hugo is an excellent author, but he writes several chapters on a minor character, an entire chapter on a year (not what happened to characters during that year, but the year itself), and so on. An abridged edition will give you a good sample of his writing and won't omit any of the plot.

Your talk about being ok meant everything to me this morning. I’m probably double your age and found so much comfort in your video. I was let go of my long time job a year ago, then I started a new and very awful job that I had to leave for my own mental health. Now I am unemployed and feel so scared because I have this life I have made with a mortgage and kids. I’m so afraid of losing all I wielded so hard to accomplish. I can’t seem to find a job and I am so scared. But you made me feel hopeful.

A shop for all would be great! I was a patreon for a while but couldn't keep it up. I would like to support but can't afford to do this monthly. I did get the beautiful sticker of the open book with the flowers and received many compliments. ( I put it on my water bottle.🙂) Glad Landon will he back soon. This experience has reminded me of when my husband was deployed for almost a year. Not easy but I felt stonger and did things I didn't know I was capable of.

I love to re-read old childhood favorites. Even children's books sometimes. One of my favorites is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle! The story is just so sweet and the illustrations are so cute. One of my favorite books of all time I 1st read when I was in the 4th grade! The Summer Of My German Soldier by Bette Greene just touches my heart❤

Hi Mo! I am still watching this but that puzzle you picked - the cheeky swear one- is actually by an artist called Wayne white. I don’t know much about him as a human but his art cracks me up and he has this wonderful documentary/movie about beauty and it’s so good because it’s not about the average social views. Highly recommend, it one of my faves in the art world!

Hello lovely people, I’ve been having a really tough year mentally. I’ve found your videos so comforting, Morgan. Thank you for creating a welcoming, cosy and kind space on CZcams. Knowing there are other people who struggle but persevere regardless has been a wonderful reminder.
There’s a phrase that I repeat to myself that used to scare me but now I appreciate how helpful it can be. The phrase is: ‘this too shall pass.’
It has helped me to ground myself when I’m upset and maybe it can help someone else.
This has been a year of change and adventure and growth, all of which can be really challenging. A year full of loneliness and questioning myself. However there’s been so many wonderful memories too. I’m trying to allow myself to feel all my emotions but let them go when they want and not hold onto them. Easier said than done. Hopefully happier days are ahead but for now I am doing my best to just be present in each day and taking them as they come.

I happy to hear Landon doing better! Sometimes space apart can strengthen relationships. When I was dating my now husband he was in the army. We was stationed for over seas for over a year and I worried how it would impact us. We had to learn to be open and honest to each other. I think it helped because now 18 years later we are still together.
