The first one is from a Harley Davidson. The second one is out of a Yamaha XT 500 classic dirt bike / motor cross bike.
You will also see me use my lathe to make a tapered adapter for a Seat Leon track day car.

You can upgrade the Van Norman cutters to carbide cutters. And you just turn cutter round when they get blunt no more sharpening. And gives a better cut 👍

G’day James, great video, the sound when lapping the valves takes me back, I’ve a friend in Sydney who loves the Japanese bikes and always knocks the Harley’s, he reckons ‘ buy a Harley, buy the best, drive a mile and walk the rest ‘ !!!!!!!! How are the ribs going ????
