Here are my thoughts on the SILCA SEAT ROLL PREMIO.
Straight from the shop (Cyclist Wardrobe) and unboxing.
Installation:
1) Unclip the BOA system (go to 1:30min)
2) Remove the Button & Unhook
3) Remove the secondary velcro lock
4) Open the Seat Roll Premio
5) Insert tools (go to 2:00min)
6) Install on Saddle (go to 5:00min)
What can you put in the Seat Roll Premio:
1) Co2
2) Tire Levers
3) Chain Quick Link
4) Tube (700c)
5) Multi-Tool (flat version)
6) Money and Cards
Some feedback:
1) When installed on the saddle, the width is slightly too wide so it sort of rubs against your tight during cycling. Small matter and easy solution, just fold tighter and press it narrower. Thats all. :) No biggie!
Water Resistance Test (go to 7:00min):
1) I think its just ok, not to heavyweight
2) Normal rainy days is fine but not on heavy rain (anyway its dangerous to ride on heavy rain too)
Silca Water Resistance Technology --- Heavyweight cotton canvas is first hot-melt waxed for water-proofing, and then computer quilted with reflective thread for improved visibility

Awesome job James! The material is made of integrating wax into the material mitigating moisture from getting into your saddle roll. This process has been used in Military applications as well as camping & hiking gear for many years. You have great taste in bicycles and now a new saddle bag roll Mate!

Thanks so much for the video James, really nicely done!! The waxed canvas will hold a little water in it's texture for a light spray, but if you run it under the faucet you will see that the water will just run right off again. Also go ahead and tighten the Boa as much as you can, it will be more stable that way and you will not break the wire! All the best to you! Josh

Great video, thanks! I'm definately going to pass on this one - too complicated and too much material. The last thing I want to deal with when fixing a flat is a complicated seat bag!
lol..you have a point tho…would say this is for styling purpose and also easy rides…on a fast ride day..you want to replace the tube ASAP!

Just how strong are those red wires that seems to hold everything together? Wonder if they'll ever rip and you just lose the whole pack
They are pretty strong....its the same lace used on road shoes. Durable 👍
The red Boa wires are actually steel cable with a polyurethane jacket, so they look a bit like they are made from plastic, but are actually really, really strong!!
What frame is that? I really like it.
thats a CHARGE Skewer Ti frame....but its no longer in production
Co2 is mini pump?
Hi buddy. Nope, its the canister that is filled with pressured with air. Once you pumcture it, it fills the tube. Making tire change easier and faster. 😎
