    I have been an Esthetician for 30 years. I’ve seen it all. The good, the bad and the not so good. I agree 100 % with this Dr. there is so much we can do safely and effectively both professionally and at home. I have been using many of these procedures and products on my clients and yes I agree it takes a combination and time as the more holistic approach is not a instant fix the the results can last your lifetime.

    I love your videos. During my 50's I had fillers and Botox in my face. It is a very expensive routine and when my life changed I had to stop. Today at 71, I have the perma frown which a lot of people have. What bothers me is that I can see channels on my cheek area where filler had once been. Derma rolling is my routine now, moisturizer and weekly soft scrubs. Yes, I want to look young but I would rather have money for other things!😃

      It gets worse. I started botox to the forehead in my mid-60's. Did so about twice a year for about 10 years. What a shock when I went off. My forehead sags and now I have ptosis of my eyelids. I am going to need the ptosis repaired and will get an eye lift as well since it does interfere with my vision.

      Please can you explain what do you mean by: add super carnisine to moisturizer to reverse existing glycation?

    • @beautylover8138
      @beautylover8138 Před měsícem

      @@albazi2008 To add carnosine to a moisturizer, dissolve carnosine powder in a small amount of moisturizer( just the amount your planning on using for the day otherwise it oxidizes, I dissolve mine on the back of my hand with my favorite face moisturizer ) . Start with a small amount of carnosine to ensure compatibility with your skin.
      Carnosine works to reverse skin aging primarily due to its antioxidant properties and its ability to inhibit glycation, a process where sugars bind to proteins and lipids, leading to the formation of advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) that contribute to skin aging. By reducing oxidative stress and glycation, carnosine can help maintain skin elasticity and firmness.
      Some people are more genetically prone to aging skin than others. Below is the ai explanation:-) Genetically, some people do not process advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) as effectively due to variations in genes that influence metabolism and detoxification. These genetic differences can affect:
      1. **Enzymatic Activity:** Variations in genes coding for enzymes that break down AGEs, such as glyoxalase 1 (GLO1), can reduce the body's ability to process and eliminate AGEs efficiently.
      2. **Antioxidant Defense:** Genetic differences affecting antioxidant systems, like those involving superoxide dismutase (SOD) or glutathione, can lead to decreased protection against oxidative stress, which contributes to the accumulation of AGEs.
      3. **Receptor Sensitivity:** Variations in genes related to AGE receptors, such as RAGE (receptor for advanced glycation end-products), can influence how AGEs are recognized and cleared from the body, impacting tissue damage and inflammation.
      These genetic factors, combined with lifestyle and dietary habits, can determine an individual's susceptibility to the harmful effects of AGEs and their impact on aging and related diseases.

    Dr. Rajani-I can not thank you enough for all of your excellent advice! My skin looks amazing these days just following your channel. Most notably, using castor oil for my under eye areas. I didn't expect to see such amazing results! I am stunned! I watched your video a month ago and have been applying it almost every night and already my under eye skin is thicker, keeping moisture better and the lines trying to sneak in there are basically gone! And I'm 45 years old, so that's truly amazing!! I get asked for ID when purchasing wine and when they look at my birth date they usually drop their jaw or ask what I've had done. I've had zero Botox, fillers, procedures and sometimes people think I'm lying😂 I tell them all to watch your channel. And being in Seattle I hope to one day come down for a consultation! 🙏🏻

But, silicone instead. I have jowls. They make me look and feel old. I dont know if any of these procedures will help. I most definitely will need a facelift. I don't see it in too many places, maybe yet? What do you think of Renuva? Fat stimulater? I wonder if this eventually will be an option? I've read that it's also good for the face in replacing fat transfer? I get sculptra for my facial hollows now.
    They don't do prf either. Sadly.
