Are they ACCURATE or Lethal? Thought we would go Old school Trick shot This week So I dug out my old wrist rocket slingshot. As a kid i played with the old wrist rocket slingshot here and there but only became frustrated with its In accuracy. And when i hung up my bow in Favor of Learning the slingshot to take with me on History channel the Survival show Alone I went old school And bought A wrist rocket Slingshot. And once again the old frustrations return. And despite being A fairly well practiced Archer Accurate see with the slingshot alluded me. I had to ask myself was the slingshot to old school could it do the job in a survival situation. Before too long I switch to a custom slingshot With Flat band For greater accuracy. So it's been just about two years since I hung up the old wrist rocket. So I thought I dig it out And we go old school trick shot This Tuesday And find out If its the slingshot or the shooter.

You just said in your previous upload, to never use a slingshot with tubes, and now one of your 3 favorites has tubes. I am confused...
Ya that makes two of us. Earlier video said that shooting with tubes is not accurate what so ever and everyone should only use flat bands not tubes. Now I'm confused on what's good and what's not.
I think what he meant specifically was that wrist rocket style slingshots with tubes aren't so hot. I'll agree, never could get consistant with my old tubed wrist rocket.
shoot I should clarify that they ate in acurit but at 10 to 15 feet shooting stuf out of the air with smaller tubing they work good anything over that the speed shooters are slow and more and more inaccurate

Daniel Charbonneau I ordered the torque from simple shot using black latex tubes and my shots do fly all over the place but with practice and better consistency, I can hit a tin can from 20 or 30 feet with ease. Theraband strips can make shooting a whole lot better but I find tubes way easier to make and the gap between the forks for attaching the tubes is very convenient.

I did too as a kid. Now I bought my first slingshot in 20 years, the new scout lt2 and I got clay ammo n steel. Shoots much better.
I don't think you can use rocks in competitions.

I used to have a wrist rocket, I could shoot a leaf blowing in the wind with a marble haha. but the tube tended to break. I like the look of the Hornet you carry! Great video, thanks!

My first ever slingshot was a picklefork from El Salvador and it was absolutely amazing, and then I modified them with tubes
These are some nice slingshots , Here in Sinaloa we make the forks from cacaragua trees as the wood is very tough , than we use rubber banda to tie the rubber tubes on and we usually wrap the rubber bands with denim, than we get leather from like an old pair of boots for the lesther pad , and we shoot with rocks lol a bit more primitive but its very exciting to make one

I should have watched some of these videos before spending money on slingshots, bands and different ammo. I've purchased 3 different slingshots, 3 types of ammo and 2 types of bands. But I finally found a combination of slingshot, band and ammo that works for me and my slingshot application, now it's practice practice practice.
Hi, I follow your chanel and have this old school rubber tube slingshot. All I had to do was to bend the metal end backwords and fit the band vertically using a stick. It worked!

The hornet is my absolute favorite one! I even cast it in aluminum so I could have a metal version!
Was just about to ask you that question.
Been looking for a simple ranged weapon for basic defense. A bow is big and a little bulky, plus it'd take a few seconds more than would be practical. A crossbow is also too big to just carry. A pistol is expensive (for a decent one) and cleaning/maintenance and ammo costs aren't ideal. This led me to thinking of letting my inner Bart Simpson out. Haven't used a slingshot since I made one out of a rubber band and a stick when I was 7. Been out of the slingshot loop for 20 years, lol. Definitely subscribing
Pocketshots are also very small and work pretty well.
Hey Fowler I'm leaning more towards being able to hunt small game(anything up to large hare or piglets) and seeking advice 1) lead or coated lead shot vs steel shot 2) size shot? 3) single or stacked flat bands? 4) Latex vs Thera band Gold in durablity, longevity. Thanks

Hi Zach. Do you have a video you’d recommend for correcting shooting errors. I noticed that my shots are slicing to the right as a right handed shooter and I can see it’s curve. I would like to know what I’m doing wrong and correcting it and other irregularities to hopefully become a better target shooter. Thanks

I grew up with the wrist rocket with tube bands. Looking at one for rocks and want to be efficient, durrable ... Axium ocularis? Scout? Over the top? Hunting and target shooting.

What are your thoughts on those slingshots with the circle fork tips that u can use tubes or flat bands? I notice alot of crazy expert level chinese guys use those. Some even use double tubes on them and usually they have wrapped handles with some type paracord or flatcord etc.

How i learned was buy a slingshot, and 1000 3/8ths ball bearings and built a catch box. I took a spinner blade for making fishing lures and put it on a cable attached to the catch box and I stood about 20 feet away and just fired until I went through the 1000 ball bearings. Then I did it again the next night And again the night after that by 3000 I had it figured out extremely well.
Hey Zach I'm a beginner and have never shot a slingshot before but I really want to get into it. I'm thinking of getting an axiom occularis and/or the hammer slingshot . Could you give me your thoughts on what I should do (I understand if you don't see as I'm a bit late to this vid) p.s. I'll be shooting distance targets

Silly question. Are fork hits normal when breaking in a new sling shot? I have the axiom ocularis & hit the fork. Took a nice dent. Do you hit the forks still?

Aaaaah I'm on the fence between he axiom ocularis and the hammer bundle with the slingbow. It's more expensive than just the axiom but cheaper than getting both.

I am new to slingshots, but was wondering which one that you would specifically recommend which would last me for years. I am a fast learner, but would eventually like to use this slingshot to hunt small game. Is there one specific one that you would choose which is accurate and powerful and durable.
the simpleshot slingshots are made of some sort of polymer. they will definitely outlast you.. as far as the bands go... well they will wear out on any slingshot, so buy a few for back up
